Fly to Mandalay & See the Legendary Bridge of U Bein

One of the highlights here is that you will pay a visit to the Royal Palace which is a large originally all teak wooden palace built in 1857 and of significant cultural importance. You'll also visit several other landmarks of the city as well as the iconic Bridge of U Bein.

Today, you’ll board a private local boat for a trip up the Irrawaddy to Mingun. You'll visit a gold leaf workshop where the skilled artisans turn gold into thin layers of paper gold leaves which have many uses including being used to apply onto religious items, for decorations, for makeup and sometimes even in cooking.

Explore Inle Lake

Today, you'll fly from cultural Mandalay to Heho and tranquil waterways of Inle Lake which is a vast body of water stretching seven miles wide and 13.5 miles long. Here, you will see the patient fisherman who propel their boats along with the unusual method of leg-rowing, the lake is also home to many people who live on stilted houses in these tranquil waters.
