Take a journey through the longest country in the world on this 11-day luxury Chile tour!

Beginning in the capital city of Santiago de Chile, you'll admire the dramatic and contrasting scenery and you explore the cosmopolitan city and beyond. Moving on, Valparaíso’s bohemian vibes will call your name and you'll be inspired by the history of poets and writers.

You'll then fly to Temuco where you'll travel to the heart of Chile's lake district, Pucon. Nature and adventure-lovers will be in their element here with its impressive landscapes, thrilling activities and unique cultures to learn about.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at the airport and driven to your hotel in Santiago to begin your luxury Chile experience. Santiago de Chile is a dynamic and cosmopolitan capital. The city’s diversity shines through its contrasting neighbourhoods. During your free time, you can explore the streets and discover beautiful and original art galleries, design shops, handicraft markets, as well as a great selection of restaurants, bars, cafes, and nightlife.

Today, you'll discover Chile’s capital city that combines colonial buildings with ultramodern architecture. You'll start your tour downtown on the Alameda, a colourful main avenue with important buildings like the Chilean University, the San Francisco Church, and the Santa Lucia Hill. You'll then tour Plaza de Armas, the central market, the Pre-Columbian Museum and end your tour at San Cristóbal Hill. You'll have lunch at a local restaurant during the tour.

Santiago to Valparaíso via Veramonte Winery

You will be picked up at your hotel and start your trip to Valparaíso. The Veramonte vineyard is the largest contiguous in Chile, stretching over 350 hectares in the prime growing area of Chile's Casablanca Valley. After the tour of the winery, you'll taste a selection of wines and learn about the winemaking philosophy with a sense of place. You'll then continue on for your tour of Valparaiso, Viña del Mar and Museo Fonck before arriving at your hotel in Valparaiso.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Valparaiso and start your trip to Isla Negra. You'll begin the day with a visit to the Sebastiana Museo de Pablo Neruda, known as Pablo Neruda’s other home in Valparaíso, followed by a short tour of Vina del Mar. You'll then journey to Isla Negra down the coast where you'll visit Pablo Neruda’s charming home overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Then, you'll continue your journey to Santa Cruz where you'll be staying the night.

Today, you'll drive into the Colchagua Valley. Colchagua Valley is a dry area with a river for irrigation, a warm climate, and fertile soils that are ideal for large productions of wine. On this wine tour, you'll appreciate the Andean views, visit two different wineries, learn about the winemaking process, and taste some of the country’s finest wines. At the end of the tour, you'll return to your hotel in Santa Cruz.

Today, you'll transfer from your hotel in Santa Cruz to your hotel in Santiago. You'll have the afternoon free to spend as you wish to explore the city or relax at your hotel. You may want to visit the bustling, noisy, colourful and crowded Santiago Central Market which buzzes with locals going about their daily shopping and tourists excited to witness this chaotic market.

Fly from Santiago to Temuco & Transfer to Pucon

You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the Santiago airport. After the 1.5-hour plane journey, you will be welcomed at the airport in Temuco and will drive inland as you appreciate the rivers and nearby volcanoes: Villarrica, Quetrupillan, and Lanin. At the Villarica Volcanic Caves, you'll learn about volcanology and geomorphology. Then, you'll continue to Pucón where you'll explore the town with a guide stopping to visit a craft shop to learn how to make wooden flowers.

Today, you'll visit the Ojos de Caburgua waterfalls and their numerous natural pools. The water comes from the Caburgua Lake, travels an underground river and emerges at the waterfall. At the Caburgua Lake, you'll walk along the black sandy beach, and appreciate the beautiful surrounding mountains. Afterwards, you'll visit the Huife Hot Springs to relax in the three outdoor thermal pools with different temperatures or in the hydro-massage pools.

Today, you'll visit the Mapuche communities centrered around Budi Lake, South America’s only saltwater lake. Mapuche means “people of the Earth”. To this day, they aim to preserve their indigenous language called “Mapudungun”, and they live from hunting, fishing, and agriculture. You'll visit a traditional house, learn about their customs, history and ancestral traditions through food, arts and crafts before enjoying a meal together.

This morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Pucón and driven to the airport in Temuco. You'll then take a 1.5-hour flight from Temuco to Santiago. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at the airport and driven to your hotel in Santiago. You'll then have the rest of the afternoon and evening free to spend your last night in Chile however you wish.
