Overview

Myanmar is a country of many wonders, where animals and ancient temples are around every corner. These are just some of the many wonders you will see on your 12-day nature in Myanmar journey!

We'll start and finish in the country's popular city of Yangon. First on the nature trail is Hlawga National Park, offering an interesting day out, you'll spot many different species that live there as well as a dam that supplies water for the entire city.

Then move onto ancient sites of Mandalay, Mount. Popa and Bagan, with some of the most wondrous concentrations of temples in the world. After temple hopping, you'll have a break to visit a beautiful and ethical retirement sanctuary for elephants to learn about the reliant relationship between mahout and elephant, as well as the natural beauty of these great giants.

Finally, we've struck off one of the famous images of Myanmar, and now it's time for the second; Inle Lake. A well-known part of the Shan State, on Inle Lake the fishermen have a rather unique way of doing their job with just one foot holding onto the boat. You'll explore this great lake and its luscious vegetation before heading back to Yangon.

Discover Myanmar in all it's beauty with nature and sunsets on this trip!
