Day 1

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at the airport and taken to your hotel. After checking in, you'll head out on a city tour to the northern part of the city. You'll visit La Recoleta, one of the city's most glamorous neighbourhoods, the Recoleta Cultural Center, the National Museum of Fine Arts, and the Palais de Glace. You'll end your tour in Palermo, a district with beautiful parks and artificial lakes. In the evening, you'll have the option to join your local hosts for a homely dinner.

Today, you'll head out on a city driving along “9 de Julio”, the widest avenue in the world. You'll visit Plaza de Mayo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, stroll along “Caminito” to admire the colourful streets, the beautiful green spaces in Palermo, Recoleta and you'll end your tour with a visit to the Recoleta cemetery. In the evening, you'll have the option to enjoy an authentic Asado experience! During this experience, see, feel, and taste the unique grilling techniques.

Today, you'll travel to San Antonio de Areco. Here, you'll take a walking tour of the village, including a visit to the historical heart of the city. Afterwards, you'll continue to the ‘El Ombu de Areco’ ranch. Once at the estancia, you can take rides on the horses or go for a ride in a sulky. At lunchtime, you'll enjoy a typical country-style barbeque prepared using only the finest quality meats. Dessert is accompanied by a folklore show, which is followed by a demonstration of gaucho skills.

This morning you'll be transferred to the airport in Buenos Aires for your flight to Mendoza. Upon arrival in Mendoza, you'll be picked up and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, you'll leave your hotel and set off on a city tour to learn about Mendoza that was founded by the Spanish four centuries ago. You'll start in the historical centre at the Pedro del Castillo Square and cover several iconic landmarks and attractions over three hours before ending your tour at the Hill of Glory!

Today, you'll visit three different wineries and immerse completely in the wine culture. Of course, you'll also taste exquisite wines and enjoy lunch at one of the wineries.

You'll end your tour in San Lorenzo, a small colonial village outside of Salta. During the tour, you'll enjoy a cooking class at the colourful San Miguel Market. In the evening, you'll attend an authentic folkloric dinner with Andean cuisine, music and dancing at a local “Peña”!

This morning, you'll depart from Salta for the province of Jujuy where the Quebrada de Humahuaca begins. Indigenous traditions are kept alive in this fascinating area; strong in local traditions, cuisine and music are influenced by the multicoloured hillsides. You will visit Purmamarca with its Cerro de Siete Colores and Tilcara with its Pucará, old indigenous fortress situated in a magnificent frame of cactus and colourful mountains. On the way back to Salta, you'll visit the city of Jujuy.

Today, you'll leave Salta and drive to the Calchaquí Valley’s highest point: “Piedra del Molino” which is a natural gate that separates the Lerma and Calchaquíes Valleys. You'll cross the National Park Los Cardones and reach the quaint village of Cachi. You'll then continue the scenic drive through the Calchaquies Valley to Cafayate and check-in at your hotel. Surrounded by green vineyards backed by towering mountains, this small, quiet and clean town has something for everyone.

Along the way, you'll stop at the UNESCO site Las Conchas Ravine and observe the colourful hills and odd rock formations that form figures like La Garganta del Diablo, El Anfiteatro, El Sapo, El Fraile, El Obelisco, and Los Castillos.

Puerto Iguazú is a small, quiet town located at the confluence of the Iguazú and Paraná Rivers; it is the gateway to the famous Iguazú Falls. You'll have the rest of the afternoon and evening free to spend as you wish.
