Today, you'll head out on a city driving along “9 de Julio”, the widest avenue in the world. You'll visit Plaza de Mayo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, stroll along “Caminito” to admire the colourful streets, the beautiful green spaces in Palermo, Recoleta and you'll end your tour with a visit to the Recoleta cemetery. In the evening, you'll have the option to enjoy an authentic Asado experience! During this experience, see, feel, and taste the unique grilling techniques.

Today, you'll travel to San Antonio de Areco. Here, you'll take a walking tour of the village, including a visit to the historical heart of the city. Afterwards, you'll continue to the ‘El Ombu de Areco’ ranch. Once at the estancia, you can take rides on the horses or go for a ride in a sulky. At lunchtime, you'll enjoy a typical country-style barbeque prepared using only the finest quality meats. Dessert is accompanied by a folklore show, which is followed by a demonstration of gaucho skills.

This morning you'll be transferred to the airport in Buenos Aires for your flight to Mendoza. Upon arrival in Mendoza, you'll be picked up and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, you'll leave your hotel and set off on a city tour to learn about Mendoza that was founded by the Spanish four centuries ago. You'll start in the historical centre at the Pedro del Castillo Square and cover several iconic landmarks and attractions over three hours before ending your tour at the Hill of Glory!

In the morning, you'll leave Mendoza and drive towards Luján de Cuyo, one of South America’s main enological centres. Today, you'll visit three different wineries and immerse completely in the wine culture. You'll learn everything you need to know about wine: the different production styles and processes, understand the complexities in making good wines, and how to handle the glass during a tasting. Of course, you'll also taste exquisite wines and enjoy lunch at one of the wineries.

Today, you'll head to the airport in Mendoza for your flight to Salta. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted and taken to your hotel. Salta is located in a fertile valley, surrounded by stunning landscapes; the gateway to the wild north. After checking in, you'll have the afternoon and evening free to spend as you wish. You can explore the area around the main square, see the stunning colonial buildings like the Salta Cathedral and more.

Today, you'll head out on a guided Salta city tour. You'll walk around the main square, see the stunning colonial buildings like the Salta Cathedral and the High Mountain Museum (MAAM). You'll end your tour in San Lorenzo, a small colonial village outside of Salta. During the tour, you'll enjoy a cooking class at the colourful San Miguel Market. In the evening, you'll attend an authentic folkloric dinner with Andean cuisine, music and dancing at a local “Peña”!

This morning, you'll depart from Salta for the province of Jujuy where the Quebrada de Humahuaca begins. Indigenous traditions are kept alive in this fascinating area; strong in local traditions, cuisine and music are influenced by the multicoloured hillsides. You will visit Purmamarca with its Cerro de Siete Colores and Tilcara with its Pucará, old indigenous fortress situated in a magnificent frame of cactus and colourful mountains. On the way back to Salta, you'll visit the city of Jujuy.

Today, you'll leave Salta and drive to the Calchaquí Valley’s highest point: “Piedra del Molino” which is a natural gate that separates the Lerma and Calchaquíes Valleys. You'll cross the National Park Los Cardones and reach the quaint village of Cachi. You'll then continue the scenic drive through the Calchaquies Valley to Cafayate and check-in at your hotel. Surrounded by green vineyards backed by towering mountains, this small, quiet and clean town has something for everyone.

This morning, you'll enjoy some free time in Cafayate; walk around the town, visit the handicrafts market or visit the wine museum. Afterwards, you'll attend a wine tasting and enjoy lunch at a local winery. In the afternoon, you'll drive 197 kilometres to Salta. Along the way, you'll stop at the UNESCO site Las Conchas Ravine and observe the colourful hills and odd rock formations that form figures like La Garganta del Diablo, El Anfiteatro, El Sapo, El Fraile, El Obelisco, and Los Castillos.

At the given time, you will be picked up and taken to the domestic airport to board your flight to Iguazu. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at Puerto Iguazu airport and taken to your hotel on the Argentinean side. Puerto Iguazú is a small, quiet town located at the confluence of the Iguazú and Paraná Rivers; it is the gateway to the famous Iguazú Falls. You'll have the rest of the afternoon and evening free to spend as you wish.

Today, you'll then head out on the tour of the Argentine side of the falls, visiting the Upper Circuit, Devil’s Throat and walking along the Iguazú River canyon to the lower circuit. You'll then take part in the Great Adventure Tour, an off-road and boat tour to the base of the falls! Tonight, you'll enjoy dinner at the first speakeasy restaurant in Iguazu. The Argentine Experience includes preparing your own food, drinking cocktails, learning about the culture and more with your local hosts!

Today, you'll have the option to explore the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls. You'll walk along paths and appreciate the lush vegetation, butterflies, and cascades. In the afternoon, you'll board a flight back to Buenos Aires where you'll spend your last night. In the evening, you'll experience a tango show and speciality dinner at El Viejo Almacén. It will be the perfect way to end your 2 week Argentina itinerary!
