Day 1
Travel from Dar Es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

You'll depart Dar Es salaam in the morning to Mikumi. Mikumi Wildlife Camp is a cosy and intimate place. The camp is located next to a waterhole, overlooking the vast plains of Mikumi National Park. The wildlife on the African Savannah, close to the Camp, is abundant and easy to spot from the restaurant. The waterhole tends to get rather busy during the dry season; zebras, elephants, impalas and buffaloes are regular visitors. You'll have the rest of the day to settle in and relax.

Day 2
Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

Today, you'll head out on a full-day game drive. Whilst on safari, you can see a rich variety of bird species, as well as large numbers of giraffe, buffalo and elephants. If you are lucky you may also be able to spot lions, leopards and African wild dogs. The animals that are likely to be seen include zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland and antelope. There are several observation towers that enable you to see the park in its entirety.

Day 3
Morning Game Drive in Mikumi National Park & Travel Back to Dar Es Salaam

After breakfast, you'll embark on a short morning game drive in the park. Afterwards, you'll complete your Tanzania travel itinerary with a drive back to Dar Es Salaam. You'll arrive late in the afternoon and either head to the airport or to your hotel.
