Overview
Spend four days exploring the capital city of Bulgaria and the quaint town of Belogradchik together with its iconic landmarks.
Starting and ending in Sofia, you will have plenty of time to explore the city on your own on your first day before being treated to a guided tour on your last.
You will also travel to Belogradchik, a small town in western Bulgaria where the Rocks of Belogradchik are located, known as one of the new Seven Wonders of the World! The rocks and the nearby Belogradchik Fortress are both an incredible and unique sight to behold.

Day 1
Arrive in Sofia

A driver will be waiting to meet you at the airport when you arrive in Sofia. You'll be transferred to the hotel to check-in. The rest of the day is free, so you can explore the Bulgarian capital on your own.

Day 2
Belogradchik Fortress & Magura Cave

After breakfast departure to Belogradchik in northwestern Bulgaria. The town, whose name literally means "small white town," is situated in the foothills of the Balkan mountains just east of the Serbian border and about 50 km south of the Danube River. Your first stop will be at the Belogradchik Rocks and Fortress, known for their strange shapes. After touring around, you'll enjoy lunch before heading to Magura Cave which is one of the largest caves in Bulgaria.

Return to Sofia & Explore

After breakfast, your driver will pick you up and drive you back to Sofia. After a short break in your hotel, you will have a walking tour of the city. During the tour, you'll visit numerous famous attractions including St. Nedelya Cathedral, St. George Rotunda, the Russian Church of St. Nicolas, St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and Ivan Vazov National Theatre.
