Welcome to the start of your luxury New Zealand tour! Enjoy your private transfer from the airport to check into your stylish boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Auckland. Once settled into your room, you'll have time to enjoy a stroll along to the harbour and in the evening, and have dinner at one of the many excellent restaurants in the area.

Today experience the very best of Auckland city, the Marine village of Devonport, Auckland's glorious West Coast and Waitakere Ranges on this full-day tour. In a Mercedes luxury vehicle, you'll see stunning views of ancient volcanoes and untamed coastline, Auckland's renowned black sand beaches; the Arataki Visitor Centre, subtropical rainforest with Kauri trees and indigenous flora and fauna. Auckland to Rotorua via Hobbiton Film Set

Today you will take a magical journey south from Auckland over the Bombay Hills to the rich farmland of the Waikato region. You travel through the heritage town of Cambridge where tree-lined streets add to the English-style atmosphere. Then onto Matamata and the home of Middle Earth, the Hobbiton Movie Set from the Lord of the Rings film trilogy for a fascinating guided tour. Following your tour, you then join a shuttle transfer for the rest of your journey to Rotorua.

Today experience the unforgettable awe-inspiring half-day journey through New Zealand's most spectacular, colourful and diverse volcanic region's amazing geothermal activity. After some free time in the afternoon, you will join your guided trip to a Maori village on a cultural journey including a Powhiri (welcome ceremony) and a Haka song and dance followed by a traditional hangi feast for dinner. Truly a day to remember.
