Welcome to Oslo! If you are feeling up to it, there is an optional Fjord Sightseeing Cruise in the afternoon. Otherwise, relax at the hotel and explore the city at your leisure.
Discover art, with famous local artists such as Edvard Munch once living in these streets; get to know the fascinating history and culture of Vikings at the museum or relax in one of the many parks to take in the luscious vegetation that surrounds the city, making Oslo one of the greenest capitals in the world.

Bergen Railway to Myrdal and Vatnahalsen

In the morning, depart from Oslo by train. The 5-hour journey from Oslo to Myrdal is part of the Bergen Railway, classed as one of the finest train journeys in the world. This railway connects the two largest cities in Norway and shows the diversity of the Norwegian landscape. In Myrdal, you will change to the Flåm Railway for a short ride to the Vatnahalsen Hotel. Here, you can breathe in the fresh mountain air, relax or go for scenic walks.

Flåm Railway & Fjord Cruise to Bergen

Breakfast at the hotel, before continuing down the railway to Flåm. You'll have some time at leisure in Flåm before continuing by boat on the Nærøyfjord to Gudvangen, where you will then catch a bus and travel through the Nærøyfjord Valley via Stalheimskleiva Road, with its 13 steep hairpin bends. The last part of today's journey will be by train from Voss to Bergen, where you will spend the night.
