You have a free morning to explore Lisbon at your own pace - make sure you are back in time for your afternoon “tapas walking tour” to visit the downtown area and the traditional neighbourhood of Alfama. During the tour, you will taste some of the most famous delicacies of Portugal, the custard tart, the codfish cake and the traditional liquor “Ginginha”. Dinner is in a local restaurant where you'll be served roasted codfish and listen to traditional Fado music.

Sintra is a magical and romantic town which seems to have come out of a fairy tale. Here, visit the Pena National Palace one of the most beautiful monuments at one of the highest's points in the region. You'll have free time for lunch in the historical centre before going to Colares, a white wine DOC region between the Atlantic Ocean and Sintra mountain, a unique microclimate for wine production. Visit the cellars and taste the wine. The trip back to Lisbon stops in Cascais and Estoril.

Departure to Óbidos a beautiful medieval village full of history where you can see the castle and explore the narrow streets. Then, you take a trip to Peniche a fishing village where we will have the opportunity of tasting the traditional “Cataplana de Marisco” dish made out of different fish and seafood. In the afternoon, visit the modern Adega Mãe wine producer, that creates amazing fresh white wines.

Today, we cross the Tagus river south to the peninsula of Setubal, an amazing region with unique conditions for wine production. In the morning, visit José Maria da Fonseca, one of the main wineries in Portugal. You'll learn about their history and taste their red, white and fortified wines, accompanied by the traditional buttery cheese of Azeitão. Trip back to Lisbon, with a stop in the Christ King, for the best view to the city of Lisbon. Rest of the afternoon at leisure to explore the city.
