Discover the historic highlights of three important cities in Egypt over six glorious days: Cairo, Alexandria, and Luxor.

Beginning in Cairo, you'll marvel at the last remaining wonder of the ancient world standing for nearly 4,000 years, the extraordinary Giza Pyramids. Accompanied by an Egyptologist guide, you'll get the best introduction to Egypt as you learn all about its ancient history.

Leaving Cairo behind for a day, you'll visit the great ancient city of Alexandria on Egypt's coast. You'll visit the impressive Library of Alexandria and Qaitbay Citadel spending the day breathing in the sea breeze.

Lastly, on your holiday to Egypt, you'll visit Luxor for two nights before heading back to Cairo. Here, you'll discover the ancient monuments on both the Nile's east and west bank.

Welcome to Cairo, the mother of the world and your gateway to sun and fun. Upon arrival at Cairo airport, you will be met by your guide and then transferred to your hotel. Your cosy hotel is located in a nice and green area of Cairo in Maadi, where you can easily go shopping, for a coffee or a walk. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore Cairo at your leisure.

Your holiday to Egypt begins with exploring the last remaining wonder of the ancient world standing for nearly 4,000 years, the extraordinary Giza Pyramids. An Egyptologist tour guide will be accompanying you on this tour and your other sightseeing tours. For lunch, you'll taste delicious Egyptian food at a nearby restaurant. Following that, you'll visit The Egyptian museum, which houses the world's largest collection of ancient Egyptian artefacts (more than 120,000 items on display).

This morning, you'll leave Cairo behind and head to the coast of the Mediterranean Sea to visit Alexandria, the ancient capital and the greatest city of Egypt. You'll visit the Library of Alexandria and Qaitbay Citadel, and spend the day breathing in the sea breeze. The library is quite an impressive place to visit, home to over eight million books with a huge reading room spread over 20,000 square metres on a staggering 11 cascading levels.

The Nile's East Bank

This morning, you'll leave Cairo behind and travel to the next city on your trip, Luxor. Upon arrival, you'll check into your deluxe 5-star resort then head out to visit the age-old Temples of Karnak and Luxor Temple on the Nile's East Bank. You'll admire its columns, courts and statues and discover how it was built 3,000 years ago while being accompanied by your own Egyptologist guide. The evening will be free for you to relax.

The Nile's West Bank

This morning, you'll be up early to visit the Valley of the Kings, this divine place was once called the Great Necropolis of Millions of Years of Pharaoh, or the Place of Truth, and it has 63 magnificent royal tombs. It is the burial site of almost all of the pharaohs from the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties of Egypt which spanned 1539–1075 BCE. After you've explored the Valley of the Kings, you'll head back to Cairo for your final evening.
