Overview
This exciting trip to Peru will show you all the most important places in the country. You will begin your 6-day journey in Lima and spend a night in the culinary capital of Latin America.
You will then continue your trip to Cusco, explore the most famous archaeological places and enjoy the beautiful landscapes surrounding the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You'll finish this amazing trip with a visit to the breathtaking archaeological site of Machu Picchu, a bucket-list-worthy moment you've been waiting for.

Day 1
Arrival to Lima

Welcome to Lima! Start your trip to Peru in the capital city where you'll be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day remains at leisure for you to explore the city on your own. You may want to visit the historic centre of Lima and explore its colonial-style Roman Catholic Cathedral. Your guide will be able to give you recommendations of what to do, what to see and where to eat.

Travel to Cusco & Explore

This morning after breakfast, you'll be taken to the airport to board a domestic flight to Cusco and start exploring the 'Capital of the Incas'. After checking in, you'll head out on a walking tour around the Main Plaza, Plaza de Armas, you'll visit the Inca Roca Palace and its remarkable Twelve Angled Stone, Qorikancha and San Pedro Market, said to be the beating heart of Cusco bursting with vibrant colours, mouthwatering smells and surprising sights.

Cusco Archaeological Tour

Today you will explore the archaeological sites around the city of Cusco such as Sacsayhuamán, Tambomachay and Puca Pucara. You'll begin at Sacsayhuamán, a site that has baffled geologists for years with some stones dating back 3,000 years. Next, you'll visit one of the largest holy sites in the Cusco region, Qenko, and then Tambomachay. Finally, you'll visit the red fortress of the Inca Empire, Puca Pucara.

Day 4
Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes

Today, you will be mesmerized by the views of Sacred Valley of the Incas and continue your journey taking the touristic train to Aguas Calientes. You'll leave Cusco behind and begin the day with a Sacred Valley tour, visiting the colourful market town of Pisac followed by a drive along the Urubamba River towards the town of Ollantaytambo, a magnificent example of Incan urban planning. You'll then catch a train to Aguas Calientes, taking one of the most beautiful journeys in Peru.

Visit Machu Picchu & Return to Cusco

The most awaited day has arrived! Today, you'll visit the archaeological site of Machu Picchu and learn why the Incas were one of the most important cultures in the Americas. Covering an area of 37,302 hectares, the National Archaeological Park of Machu Picchu is a truly spectacular sight which leaves visitors with their mouths agape. After the visit, you will return to Cusco by train and by van with a camera full of pictures and a heart full of memories.
