Overview
Embark on an adventure of a lifetime to the charismatic and ever colourful country of India! This 7-day itinerary take you on the Golden Triangle tour, one of the most popular routes to take when travelling to India.
Start your tour in Delhi, which is a city that blends the ancient with the contemporary. Government buildings, medieval palaces and bazaars exist within a modern metropolis. Then, you will move on to Jaipur, the largest city in Rajasthan, this is also known a the pink city. Jaipur features a rich heritage and stunning Rajhastani architecture in its many forts and palaces.
The last destination of the Golden Triangle is Agra, which is famous as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World: the Taj Mahal. Here you will get to see first hand what is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful buildings in the world.

Welcome to India! Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, you will be greeted by your driver and transferred to your hotel in the city centre. You have the rest of the afternoon free to explore Delhi at your leisure. In its 3000 years of existence, seven cities have risen where the present capital of India stands. Here you'll encounter a fascinating blend of the ancient and the contemporary. It is a place where government buildings, medieval palaces and bazaars exist beside a modern metropolis.

Day 2
New Delhi City Tour

After breakfast this morning, you will begin your city tour of the fascinating city of Delhi. Start by visiting the imposing Red Fort, that features palaces and beautiful gardens. Proceed to Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, before embarking on a rickshaw ride around Old Delhi. Then, head to the Raj Ghat on the banks of the river Yamuna, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Finish your tour in the landmark of Delhi, Qutub Minar.

Travel to Jaipur

This morning you will make the journey to Jaipur, also known as the Pink City. The journey will take around five hours. Once you have checked into your hotel, you will finish your day learning the art of turban and saree tying. Both items of clothing are fully integrated into the Rajasthani culture, and you will learn more about the history and importance of them in the context of Jaipur.

Day 4
Exploring the Pink City

You can start your day with one of two optional tours: a cycling tour around Jaipur or a hot air balloon experience. In the afternoon you will visit some of the most emblematic sights in the city. Make a photo stop at the iconic Hawa Mahal, a pink-painted honeycombed hive that features 5 stories. Continue to the ancient city of Amber Fort, the City Palace Museum and finish in the Jantar Mantar Observatory.

Day 5
Journey to Agra

After breakfast at your hotel, you will make the four-hour drive to Agra. En route, you will visit the deserted medieval city of Fatehpur Sikri. Built by Akbar the Great in the 16th century, the complex consists of religious, residential and administrative buildings. Check in to your hotel in Agra and spend the afternoon at leisure. In the evening you have the option to experience a theatrical show depicting the golden era of Indian medieval history.

The Magical Taj Mahal and Transfer to Delhi

You will have an early start today as you set off to experience the impressive Taj Mahal at sunrise. A poem in white marble, the Taj was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife. Taking 22 years and 20,000 workers to construct, it is one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. After, visit Agra Fort, situated on the bank of the river Jamuna. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Delhi for your last night.

Goodbye India!
