This morning, head into Montevideo for a city tour. The main points of interest will be in the historic city centre where you will visit the Plaza de Constitucion with the cathedral and the colonial town hall. Then you will proceed to the Congress Building, Mercado Agricola Montevideo, passing by the Obelisk to Batlle and Ordoñez Park and the Centenario Soccer Stadium where the very first World Cup final was played. Afterwards, visit Pocitos Beach and take a stroll along to Ramirez Beach.

After breakfast transfer to the Estancia Finca Piedra at the foot of the Sierras of Mahoma for the day. This wonderful Estancia is ideal for a combination of relaxing and activities like biking, horseback riding through the mountains. You will have a short tour of the Estancia and then hop on a mountain bike through the area. Later on, visit the ñandus and carpinchos that live at the Estancia. After lunch, there are activities such as biking, hiking, horseback riding, and fishing.

Today you will be taken to the bus terminal in Montevideo. You'll take a public bus to Punta del Este then transfer to your hotel. Hop on a bike for a scenic ride showcasing the highlights of Punta del Este. Stop for photos at the old lighthouse, cruise past Candelaria Church, the beautiful neighbourhood of San Rafael and stunning Brava Beach, where you can see La Mano or The Hand. Cycling past the beaches and sites is an easy way to exercise and tour this gorgeous seaside town.

Your day is free to enjoy the resort-city of Punte del Este. Enjoy a scenic drive through Punta del Este's neighbourhoods; Cantegril, San Rafael, Parque Golf and La Barra de Maldonado. Make a stop at Ralli Museum of Contemporary Art filled with work by noted Latin American artists. Stop at Punta Ballena for sweeping views of the coast, before arriving at Casapueblo, the home and atelier of the artist, Carlos Paez Vilaró. The dazzling white complex is on a rocky bluff overlooking the ocean.

Today you'll drive from Punta del Este to the bus terminal of Cabo Polonio where you'll board a special vehicle to take you through the dunes to the village of Cabo Polonio. Cabo Polonio is a National Park near Valizas, one of the seaside resorts on the Atlantic coast of Rocha. It is best known for its large sea lion colony, which can be seen from the coast and the lighthouse. During this four-hour trek, you'll reach the lighthouse before you take a 4WD a little further.

At the given time, you will be brought to the bus terminal of Castillos, where you will board the public bus to Montevideo. Upon arrival in Montevideo, you'll transfer to your hotel in the city and have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy Montevideo before taking your flight back home the next day. There are many galleries and museums in the city that warrant exploration.
