Overview
Starting and finishing in the capital, Istanbul, this Turkey tour is but an introduction to what this incredible country has to offer.
With daily guided tours, you'll explore several locations as you may your way towards the beautiful Pamukkale with pearly white hot springs. You'll see natural wonders, archaeological magnificence and learn a little about Turkey's role in the First World War. Essential stops include Troy, known for the great Trojan horse than assisted in battle and one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Ephesus.
While learning about the history of western Turkey, you'll have ample time to marvel at the coastline, looking out towards the Aegean Sea while staying at five-star hotels that allow you to admire it!

Guided Tour of Istanbul

Today, you'll have a guided day tour of the city, including lunch. Start off with the UNESCO World Heritage-listed, Old Istanbul. Visit the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and the Byzantine Hippodrome, where emperors once saw chariot races. You'll then go to the Hagia Sophia museum, a place of worship for 900 years, and finish the day at the lavishly appointed Topkapi Palace.

Gallipoli War Tour

You'll leave the hotel bright and early this morning to make it to Gallipoli for an afternoon tour. Gallipolli and the well-known Anzac region is surrounded by World War I battlefields. Now a serene site, you'll visit the Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial, ANZAC Cove and The Nek to learn about what happened on this very site.

Tour of Troy

This morning you will tour Troy before continuing onto Kusadasi. The ancient city of Troy is famous for the legendary Trojan horse. Dating back to the times of the beautiful Helen, Queen of Sparta the archaeological site that remains today is impressively well-preserved. Then we will enjoy a display of locally handcrafted leather goods before heading to Kusadasi.

The City of Ephesus

Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World, the site of Temple of Artemis and the ancient city of Ephesus. With its well preserved collonaded Arcadian Way, Hadrians Temple, Celsus Library, market and theatre, this archaeological site takes you a step back in time. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the city and stadium where chariot and horse races were once held. You'll finish the day at the last home of the Virgin Mary.

Pamukkale

Pamukkale is the centre of a thermal spring with healing properties. Due to the chemical properties in the water, pure white coloured travertine and water terraces have been created on the mountain slope. Visit the travertine and the Ancient City of Hierapolis which has the biggest Necropolis with 1200 gravestones in Anatolia. The sacred pool also is one of the highlights of the site; shallow thermal waters ripple over a wonderful scattering of ancient roman ruins which lie beneath.
