After breakfast, you'll visit some of the most famous monuments of Kolkata including St John's Church, Mother Teresa's House, the Howrah Bridge and the Victoria Memorial. Later on, your guide will take you for a half-day city walking tour in Kolkata. You will then walk to the specialised eating joints famous for specific recipes. Along with this gastronomical adventure, you will fill you up with interesting facts from history, stories and anecdotes about the food culture of the city.

In the morning, after breakfast, you'll drive to Kolkata airport as per your flight schedule and fly to Bagdogra. On arrival, you'll meet your guide and drive to Darjeeling, Queen of India's hill stations. Its setting is one of incomparable beauty - a Victorian town of old world charm 'discovered' by the British. It is surrounded by fragrant tea gardens which seem to flow over the layered slopes like emerald swells on a rough sea. You'll have the evening at leisure to explore the town.

Today, you will have an opportunity to ride on the steam train of Darjeeling. The ride takes you to Ghoom - the highest Station in India - in 45 minutes. The toy train on the Darjeeling Himalayan section is not merely a source of delight for the young and old; it also represents the engineering skills of the highest order. Later on, you'll find the heritage walk is a rare offering in Darjeeling that very few know about, it allows you to explore the rich heritage and history of Darjeeling Hills.

Early this morning, you'll start your day with the Tiger Hill viewpoint. Situated at an altitude of 2590 metres and 13 kilometres from the town, this spot has earned international fame for the magnificent view of the sunrise over "Kanchenjunga" and the great Eastern Himalayan Mountains. Even Mount Everest, the world's highest peak, is also visible from here. After breakfast, you'll check out and drive to Pelling in West Sikkim, famous for its magnificent views of Kanchenjunga.

The morning, after breakfast, you will visit Pemayangtse monastery. Designed and founded by Lama LhatsunChempo in 1705, it is one of the oldest and premier monasteries of Sikkim. Afterwards, you'll do an easy hike to the Rubduntse Ruins, the second capital of the past Kingdom of Sikkim. Then, you'll do a more moderate trek to Sangachoeling Monastery, the second oldest monastery in Sikkim after Pemayangtse. After lunch, you'll finish the day tour with a drive around Khecheopalri Lake.

After breakfast, you'll check out and begin the four-hour drive to Gangtok, a fairytale capital in the clouds. Gangtok balances precariously on steep mountain slopes, surrounded by lush rice terraces, swifts flowing rivers and distant snow views. It is situated in the lower Himalayas and was a small hamlet until the construction of the Enchey Monastery in 1840 made it into a pilgrimage centre.
On arrival, you'll check-in and then have the rest of the evening free to explore.

Today you will take rest from walking and will do a full-day tour in Gangtok by car with visiting the most attractive points of the city. With a private car and local guide, you'll visit Rumtek Monastery, the Research Institute of Tibetology and Do DrulChorten before a break for lunch. After lunch, you'll continue your tour to the Government Institute of Cottage Industries (GICI), Tashi Viewpoint and you'll finish the day exploring Lal Bazaar before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast, you'll drive to Kalimpong. Nestled in the lush green mid ranges of the Himalayas, this hill station of "the Raj" has an incredible stunning backdrop of towering snow-capped peaks. This exotic town of beautiful people, mystical and enchanting, with a rare ethnic blend of hill people, has a tradition of hospitality from the days of the mule caravans of old. On arrival, you'll check-in and then head out to visit the Haat Bazaar to see the authentic culture of Kalimpong.
