Customisable Itinerary
4.8 • 3 travellers have booked with Keshab K.

Trip Overview

Muktinath is a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists. Hindus worship Muktinath as an incarnation of Lord Bishnu and believe that bathing in the holy water here brings salvation after death.

This ten-day trekking route is also known as Kaligandaki Valley or Lower Mustang Trek. Trekking in Kaligandaki valley offers you the experience of dramatic changes in flora and fauna, diverse landscape and culture, and changes in climate zones. You will experience the temperate zone around Tukuche, the subtropical humid zone in Tatopani and a drier zone in Jomsom, amongst many others.

On this Jomsom Muktinath tour, you will also get the chance to walk through the deepest gorge in the world, the Kali Gandaki Gorge. This impressive gorge is located by the Kaligandaki river in between two giant mountains: Annapurna I at 8091 metres to the east and Dhaulagiri at 8167 metres to the west.
