On this ten-day Balkan tour, you will travel across Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, journeying from the city to the countryside of each country at a relaxed, enjoyable pace. Upon arrival in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, you will be welcomed by your tour manager and escorted to your hotel. You can see New Belgrade on the short drive from Nikola Tesla Airport to your hotel. You’ll see classic examples of Socialist architecture, built after World War II, and modern business centres among which Usce Centre stands out. During the drive, you can enjoy the image and stories about Western Gate of Belgrade, the famous Belgrade Arena and monumental Palace of Serbia.

After breakfast, you'll start your coach and walking tour around Belgrade, the capital that is well-known for its various architectural styles, dynamic history and fantastic views of one of the biggest river confluences in the whole Europe. Among many other places, you'll visit the Yugoslav History Museum, the Stadium of FC Red Star and Saint Sava Temple where you'll take a panoramic tour of Slavija Square. You'll also visit Saint Mark’s Church, Serbian National Parliament and the White Palace.

Today, you'll drive towards Western Serbia via picturesque Ovcar-Kablar Canyon that meanders off the Western Morava River. Upon arrival at Zlatibor Mountain, the first Royal resort in Serbia, you'll enjoy a relaxing walk around the town centre of this prominent air spa. You'll then proceed to Tara National Park and contemplate the beauties from the authentic Balkan train, the Sargan 8 Railway. You'll also enjoy breathtaking nature before arriving at the “Wooden Town” of Drvengrad.

Today, the Balkan tour continues to Bosnia and Herzegovina with a short drive towards Visegrad, a cultural centre with numerous buildings, built on the banks of Drina River nearby the famous bridge. In Andricgrad, you will take a break before driving to Sarajevo. Before you settle into your hotel, a sightseeing tour will cover the main sights: Building of Vijecnica, an old downtown of the city called Bashcharshiya, Gazi Husrev-bey mosque, Sahat Tower, Latin Bridge, to name but a few.

Today, you'll drive to the beautiful city of Mostar. During the walking tour, you'll visit the Old Bridge, Koski Mehmed Pasa Mosque, the Crooked Bridge, the Old Tanner’s Quarter and Tabhana. You'll then continue to Blagaj, the old town from the 15th century before moving on to Trebinje, a picturesque town with a wonderful mix from different cultures. You'll visit Arslanagica Bridge and walk through the narrow streets of the old town where you’ll see the most important sites of Trebinje.

Today, the day is devoted to Montenegro. You'll visit Bay of Kotor with its unique landscape. On the way to Kotor, you'll stop at the town of Perast, a little settlement in baroque style. You'll take a relaxing boat ride along Boka Kotorska Bay to the picturesque island of Our Lady of the Rock. In Kotor, you'll take a tour of the prominent sites: St. Nicolas and St. Luke Church, Cathedral of St. Tryphon. The next destination is Dubrovnik where you'll tour the most beautiful sites in the city.

Today, you'll drive along beautiful Makarska coast with wonderful views over Croatian islands, wine and olive plantations and stone-made villages. Upon arrival in Split, the largest Dalmatian city, you'll have a sightseeing tour through narrow streets of Diocletian’s Palace (UNESCO World Heritage site), and the Temple of Jupiter in the central ancient Peristyle Square. Then, you’ll pass through Golden and Silver Gates and walk via noisy markets that lead to Riva, the shopping area.

Later, you'll drive towards Sibenik, a city famous for its narrow curvy streets, stone-made houses, and remains of the city walls. The medieval old Venetian town of Sibenik will show you lots of monuments including St. James Cathedral (UNESCO protected monument). In the late afternoon, you'll arrive at the world-famous Plitvice National Park.

You will enjoy a three-hour guided tour that includes a visit to the upper and lower lakes. Your final stop in this Balkan tour is Croatian capital, Zagreb. A sightseeing tour will show you all main sites: the medieval Kaptol, Franciscan Monastery, the Church of St. Francis, the farmer’s market, Dolac, the Baroque Church of St. Mary, and Ban Josip Jelacic’s monument.
