Today, you will visit Polonnaruwa, the ancient royal capital. You may want to stroll through the ruins of this impressive site full of treasures and archaeological remains. After the visit, your driver will transport you safely to your hotel, where you can spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing.

You'll visit the famous UNESCO-listed Fortress of Sigiriya, also known as Lion's Rock. The fortress complex includes remnants of a ruined palace, surrounded by an extensive network of fortifications, vast gardens, ponds, canals, alleys and fountains. Then, you'll travel from Sigiriya into the Hill Country as you approach Kandy, your next destination. In Kandy, you will visit the Temple of the Tooth, a sacred temple that contains the most important Buddhist relic in the country.

Travel at a leisurely pace as we go deeper into the tea plantations of Sri Lanka. On your way between Kandy and Nuwara Eliya, enjoy the magnificent view of the Kotamale reservoir and make a stop at the Ramboda Waterfalls. Continue on the road through the hills and sit back and enjoy the view of the misty tea plantations. Often nicknamed "Little England", Nuwara Eliya is a beautiful mountain resort that has kept a "colonial British" atmosphere intact.

Start your day by visiting Seetha Amman, a small Hindu temple, where according to local legend, Ravana, the demon king of Lanka, captured Sita, the wife of Ramayana's hero. After that, visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where you will taste the local production on-site. You will start your trip to Kitugala with an optional stop at the Devon Falls, which are among the most popular in the country, particularly because of their unobstructed view of the road between Hatton and Nuwara Eliya.

Today, you will set off for a fun rafting experience on the rapids of Kelaniya Ganga. The classic descent crosses seven categories of three rapids and covers seven kilometres. After this adrenaline-filled activity, your driver will take you to Negombo, where you can relax on the beach.

Today, you will travel from Sri Lanka to the Maldives for some well-deserved relaxation days. Private transfer from Negombo to Colombo International Airport will be arranged after you check out from your hotel. Your driver will drop you at the airport three hours prior to your flight to Male.
