Embark on an 11-day Vietnam food trip where you'll savour its culture and cuisine all the way from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi!

Cook and eat at your way through Vietnam, where you'll experience one of the freshest and most fragrant cuisines in Asia. From "pho" and ancient buildings in Hanoi, "banh khoai" and Imperial Citadel of Hue; "banh xeo" and lantern-lit streets of Hoi An and "banh canh" and pulsating markets in Ho Chi Minh City. You'll experience Vietnam’s cuisine and its tightly woven place within its culture in the country where you are not greeted with the question, "how are you?", but "have you eaten yet?".

Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, your private driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel for check-in. You are free for the rest of the afternoon and evening to explore the vibrant city streets of Vietnam's largest city. In the afternoon, you can head to Ho Chi Minh City's oldest surviving market, Ben Thanh.

After breakfast, you will take part in a half-day cooking class in Saigon. Follow the chef through the vibrant Ben Thanh Market to purchase the necessary ingredients for your cooking lesson and learn how to cook Vietnamese food. After lunch, you will visit Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon Central Post Office, War Remnants Museum and China Town; the main sights of Ho Chi Minh City.

Today, take an excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels, consisting of more than 200 kilometres of underground labyrinths. This main axis system has many branches connecting them to underground hideouts, shelters, and entrances to other tunnels that were used during the Vietnam War. After lunch, take a flight to Danang then drive to Hoi An, the beautiful UNESCO-list town full of colonial architecture. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

This morning, you will transfer to Hue, a stunning drive through the Hai Van Pass where you can enjoy the rugged stretch of coastline, widely regarded as the most beautiful coastline in Vietnam, and one of the best in the world! Before you head up to the Hai Van Pass, you'll visit the Cham Museum and Marble Mountains in Danang. On arrival in Hue, you will check into your hotel.

Starting in the market and then making your way to the class where you'll learn about the most delicious food in the country - Central Vietnamese cuisine! After lunch, you'll visit the ancient Citadel, the royal tombs of Tu Duc and Thien Mu Pagoda. The rest of the day is free to explore the night market and enjoy Hue by night. Today will be a highlight of your Vietnam food trip.

In the morning you'll have a short but sweet flight to Hanoi when you arrive, you'll be driven to the city to enjoy a tour of Hanoi, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Temple of Literature and the Old Quarter - the best of Hanoi. At the end of the tour, you'll hop on a rickshaw and enjoy a tour of the city which will end with a water puppet performance in the evening. A day of must-sees in Vietnam!

This morning, you're off to the market to learn about various fruits and vegetables in Vietnam. With fresh vegetables bought, a great chef will guide you, as you will learn how to cook some of the Northern Vietnamese dishes, then you can enjoy them after the class. This afternoon, you will visit Bat Trang Ceramic Village, where you'll learn about how ceramics are made in Vietnam and shipped across the country. In the evening, you'll have free time to explore.

After breakfast, you'll depart for Halong Bay, one of the world's marvels. You'll board a traditional junk, perfect for admiring the scenery at a slow pace. After lunch, you'll stop at the Surprise Cave and enjoy some beach activities at Ti Tov Beach amongst the wonderful karst formations of Halong Bay. In the evening, you'll enjoy your cruise dinner and try your hand at squid fishing!

After breakfast, you will glide in small boats to the Luon Cave. Passing through the entrance, you come across a tranquil round lake, with monkeys, orchids and high dangerous stone walls - a secret paradise. Then, you'll cruise back to the mainland while exploring more wonders of creation in Halong Bay. After lunch, you'll disembark and return to Hanoi in a car. When you arrive, you'll have some free time to relax.
