Over the twelve days of this exciting tour, you'll discover the glamourous beauty of camping in Sri Lanka!

You will be provided accommodation at carefully-selected luxury camping sites and boutique eco-hotels at various famous destinations in Sri Lanka. At each new location, you'll engage in unique activities including boat rides, Jeep safaris in the national parks, visits to ancient cities and more.

Among many others, highlights of this 12-day journey will include trekking to the top of the Sigiriya Rock and admiring the view, visiting the Yapahuwa Kingdom, a safari drive in Wilpattu National Park, a traditional village cycling tour and more.

On arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, a representative will welcome you and transfer you to Kalpitiya, a fantastic unspoiled beach destination in Sri Lanka. On the way, you will be briefly told about Sri Lanka and the places you will visit during this unique tour. The Kalpitiya peninsula, Kalpitiya Islands and Kalpitiya Beaches are a popular tourist destination in Sri Lanka.

Day 2

After breakfast at hotel, you'll take a boat ride to Willpattu National park and do a jeep safari. Wilpattu Sanctuary was declared as a national park in 1938, Wilpattu National Park is located on the west coast close to the historical city of Anuradhapura. If time and weather permits, you'll continue glamping in Sri Lanka with a quick boat ride in the Kalpitiya Lagoon and stop at a small sandbank to have a glass of wine or beer while watching the sunset.

Day 3

Travel to Sigiriya via Yapakuwa

Today, after breakfast at the hotel, you'll make your way to Sigiriya which is the central part of Sri Lanka and the Cultural Triangle. On the way to Sigiriya, you'll pay a visit to the Yapahuwa Ancient Kingdom. After having the afternoon to settle in, in the evening you'll climb Pidurangala Rock to watch the evening sunset. You'll then return back to the hotel and relax. The hotel for the night is a unique semi-luxury treehouse in the woods, you will love the surroundings and the concept.

Day 4

Today after breakfast at your campsite, you'll head to Hiriwadunna to do some trekking and cycling and enjoy a traditional village lunch. You'll take a cycle ride or take a walk into the bushes, enjoy a nature walk through scrub jungle and wade through a local stream with low hanging branches. You'll also taste authentic village cuisine prepared by the farmer's family with freshly picked produce. In the afternoon, you'll visit the Ancient City of Polonnaruwa.

This morning you'll enjoy your breakfast and take a climb up to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. It is a fortress complex of a ruined palace and one of the World Heritage sites declared by UNESCO. A couple of hours later, you'll climb down the fortress and refresh yourself. Then, you will be transferred to an extraordinary property which is situated amongst undulating hills and a lush verdant landscape. You'll be rewarded with a breathtaking view.

Day 6

Knuckles Mountain Range Trek

Today, you'll trek to the Knuckles Mountain Range. The Knuckles Mountain Range also called “Dumbara Mountain Range” is located off Kandy, in the northern end of Central Highlands of Sri Lanka. On your trek, you'll enjoy the lush greenery, range of endemic and migrant birds, water streams and many more nature related things during the trek. Sometimes, if you are lucky, you might see some Stag deer. In the afternoon, you'll return to the tent and enjoy a hot cup of tea or a cold beer.

This morning, you'll enjoy your breakfast and transfer to Wellawaya where you can get a taste of an authentic Sri Lankan village atmosphere. Upon arrival, you'll check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel. This is a remote location in Sri Lanka which gives you the feeling of living closer to the traditional paddy fields of Sri Lanka.

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll take a day trip to the beautiful region of Ella. Ella is a nature paradise and a highly touristic place due to its natural beauty and attractions. Upon arrival, you'll hike up to Ella Rock in the morning, and alter you will visit Ravana Falls, Ella Gap and the famous Nine Arch Bridge, an icon of Sri Lanka. In the afternoon, you'll proceed back to Wellawaya for the evening.

After breakfast this morning, you'll pack up and leave for Yala National Park, a short drive away. On the way, you will visit the Kataragama Temple Complex which has ancient Buddhist and Hindu temples. In Yala, you'll settle into a wonderful experience filled with adventurous luxury and pure Sri Lankan serenity. You'll spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the view of the lake. You will see wild animals roam around the lake.

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll start the day with a Jeep safari at Yala National Park. Yala (Ruhuna) National Park is situated in the southern province and showcases a vast variety of indigenous animals, best known for large herds of roaming elephants and the ever-elusive leopard. The park's dry thorn scrub, interspersed with small dusty glades, is reminiscent of Africa, a perfect environment for safaris.
After a game drive, you'll return to your tent and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 11

Yala to Galle

Today, you will be transferred to Galle and in the late afternoon, you will explore the city finishing the day by watching the sunset over the beautiful Indian ocean. Galle was once the chief port of Sri Lanka and is well known for handmade lace. You can visit the UNESCO-protected Galle Fort which was originally built by the Portuguese and later extended by the Dutch in 1663. As a result, Asia's largest colonial-built fort has protected a wealth of interesting architecture.
