Leave the city early for the 3.5-hour drive (170 kilometres) through the Red River Delta, which offers plenty of chances to take photos of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy fields. Arrive at Halong pier, check-in and board your junk and enjoy a 24-hour journey in the amazing bay. Savour a gourmet lunch of fresh seafood onboard as you sail out into the mystical bay. In the afternoon, enjoy some activities in the bay or just spend some time relaxing. Dinner is served on board.

Wake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise. Enjoy a light breakfast before setting out to explore nearby islands by rowing boat. Then, return to the junk to take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay. Have brunch on board before returning to the pier then, drive back to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Dong Hoi. Upon arrival, you'll be escorted to Phong Nha, about a half an hour drive.

With your English-speaking guide and local jungle men from the nearby ethnic village of Tan Hoa, you will trek up to 9 kilometres through buffalo fields, dense jungle and have an opportunity to swim through an unbelievable river cave. See the immense formations of Hang Chuot (Rat Cave) before trekking to impressive Hung Ton Cave and To Mo Valley. Explore the beauty of Phong Nga National Park by following one of the many trails or relax and enjoy the tranquillity of this natural landscape. There's plenty to see and do in this beautiful national park to keep you entertained all day.

You'll have free time in the morning in Phong Nha then meet your driver and transfer to the airport in Dong Hoi for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to the hotel and the rest of your day is free to enjoy. Take this opportunity to visit any of the attractions and monuments that you didn't get a chance to last time you were in Hanoi.

The exploration of Luang Prabang would be not complete without a visit to the National Museum at the former Royal Palace. Leave the town through verdant and rugged scenery to visit some hill tribes at Ban Lao Soung and Ban Ou. You'll take a walk to the beautiful Khouang Si waterfalls, where water tumbles over multi-tiered limestone formations into cool and crystal clear pools surrounded by dense forests.

Have breakfast at the hotel and then the day is free for you to discover the charming city of Luang Prabang. The ancient town of Luang Prabang is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered by many as the heart of Laotian culture, where you can see traditional wooden houses, royal structures, colonial architecture, and over 30 vat (Buddhist shrines).

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Pakse and continue to drive to “Si Phan Done”. Stay overnight at Folie Lodge, the “Red Island”, a charming car-free island, part of the Champasak cultural and natural heritage, that sits along the Mekong River, on a beach facing the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Vat Phu.

You'll embark on a longtail boat to discover the widest section of the Mekong river, where during the dry season the waters recede and leave behind thousands of islets, giving this area a lovely name” Si Phan Done”. Explore the local peaceful villages of Ban Khone and continue to the 4000 islands to visit the marvellous Li Phi waterfall AKA the "Corridor of the Devil". If you are lucky, you may even see the rare freshwater Irrawaddy dolphin in Ban Hang Khone.

The day is free at leisure to discover the beautiful area of Si Phan Don as you wish. You can take a bicycle, a motorbike or you can walk, depending on your personal preference. If none of these options sounds good, a local guide will take you wherever you wish to visit for a small fee. For the perfect combination of local stories and knowledge, it is recommended to take a guide.

Today, you'll drive to Pakse for a short flight to Siem Riep. Upon arrival, your guide will take you to the hotel before visiting the mighty Angkor Wat. You'll start with the Southern Gate of Angkor Thom and the unique temple of Bayon, a collection of 54 Gothic towers decorated with 216 coldly smiling, enormous faces glaring down from every angle. Following this, you'll go to to the Baphoun temple, the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King.

Today, you'll explore the enchanting temple of the Banteay Srei, the jewel in the crown of Angkorian art. Banteay Srei means ‘Citadel of the Women’. In the afternoon, we visit the Banteay Samre, which dates from the same period as Angkor Wat. Afterwards, you'll continue to the monuments of Rolous, which served as Indravarman I’s capital. The temples were built by the Khmer and mark the beginning of the age of Khmer classical art.

After breakfast today, you'll discover more of Angkor Wat. In the morning, you'll visit the fabulous Ta Prohm embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. Then, to the Pre Rup Temple, East Mebon Temple and Neak Poan temple in the late morning. In the afternoon, you'll visit Krovan, Royal Bath of Srah Srang and Banteay Kdei temples.
