Then, we will the Banteay Srei temple, known as the Citadel of Woman and Banteay Samre, which is connected to Banteay Srei in many ways. Then, visit Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful and famous temples in the area, known for its role in the Lara Croft movie.

After breakfast, we drive into the countryside to visit Koh Ker, a 10th-century temple complex. A former capital of the Khmer Empire, the site is now remote and heavily forested with its seven-tier pyramid peaking out of the trees. Then to the "red temple, Prasat Krahom, with its beautiful sandstone carvings. Beng Mealea, 'Lotus Pond', is in a fairly ruinous state, and is one of the major monuments of the classical period.

Today, you'll drive to the capital, Phnom Penh which will take the whole day. You'll stop at a small countryside village famous for its clay pottery, called Kampong Chhnang. Discover Udong in a hilly setting, this old capital of the Khmer Kingdom, from 1618 to 1866, remains, despite recent destructions, one of the most treasured sites for Cambodians, and finally arrive in the capital early evening.
