Overview
The Western Desert of Egypt is a huge 262,000-metre-squared area consisting of dunes, canyons, oases, mountainous plateaus and valleys that span the land west of the Nile Valley.
With its uncanny rock formations, and strange vast landscape, it looks like a planet of its own! Explore this fascinating landscape as you are guided through White Desert, Black Desert and Oasis of Bahariya, and learn about the unique traditions from the Bahariya region whilst meeting the locals.
This is an authentic three-day journey into the world of the desert traveller, that is sure to leave you with lifelong memories.

Itinerary
Day 1
Journey from Cairo to Bahariya

Upon arriving in Cairo, you'll have an early departure as you drive five hours towards the Western Desert of Egypt to the village of Bahariya where you'll find a beautiful oasis. Upon arriving at Bahariya, you'll enjoy a tasty home-cooked lunch before heading out to explore the village which is home to over 30,000 farmers who earn a living from cultivating olives and dates and rearing turkeys. In the evening, you'll enjoy dinner at your eco-lodge in the village.

Day 2
Explore the Black Desert & White Desert

Today, you'll head into the desert by 4x4 Jeep to enjoy your first insight encounter with the Black Desert - sandy hills sprinkled with black dust, ancient volcanic debris that have been moulded over the years into various sized and obscure shaped rocks. Then you'll enter the White Desert, a surreal landscape of eroded rock which gives it its name. You'll overnight in a traditional desert camp and enjoy a dinner which will be freshly prepared and cooked on the open fire.

Explore Oasis el Hayes, Hot Springs in the Desert & Journey Back to Cairo

After enjoying breakfast at your desert camp, you'll head off on an off-road adventure back to Bahariya to visit the Oasis el Hayes, a beautiful hot spring in the desert. You'll have some time for a light lunch before transferring back to Cairo where your adventure will come to an end.
