On arrival, your trip to Athens begins with detailed information about all art and music events taking place in Athens during your stay, also a list of non-tourist restaurants for the best taste of Athens. If you would like to, in the evening, your driver can pick you up and take you to a special restaurant for your first taste of Greek cuisine and Greek seafood dishes.

Day 2
Your Trip to Athens Begins with Ancient History

The best way to see Athens is a walking tour and today, you'l be accompanied by a local designer guide to discover the best of Athens. You can feel the vibes, explore every sense and meet the locals! You’ll start the day by walking to the Acropolis Hill where you’ll enjoy a guided tour to Parthenon, the Erectheion and the surrounding monuments. Afterwards, the rest of your day will be free to spend as you wish.

A Taste of Athens

Get ready to bite into a sweet, cream-filled, crunchy filo layered pie called 'bougatsa', fork into perfectly fried doughnut balls drenched in honey called 'loukoumades', and savour a satisfying meld of flavours from warm pita bread filled with seasoned grilled meat, fresh veggies and a traditional sauce called 'gyros'. In between, you’ll taste feta cheese, Greek olives and sip Greek wines. This will be a day to discover the taste of Greece!

Athens is still so much more than all these ancient treasures. If you pick the right time of year for your Athens short break or weekend break, you can take a tram or taxi to the beach and enjoy the full benefit of mild early spring or late autumn weather to help you really relax at the end of your trip. When you are ready, your local designer will collect you and take you to the airport.
