Overview
This four-day Italian break provides a great mix of larger than life big-city attractions and absolutely stunning and unique small village scenery.
You'll begin by exploring Florence, the 'Cradle of Renaissance', where you will have a full day to work your way around the city using the hop-on-hop-off sightseeing bus. You can pick and choose the attractions that interest you the most and then you can spend as much time as you like at each.
Once you've seen some of the major city sights, you will head off on a full-day group tour to Cinque Terre from Florence. You'll spend the entire day exploring the staggering beauty of these five small coastal villages. The outing will include a boat ride and a train trip as you make your way from one village to the next.
This is a perfect balanced trip: self-exploration in the city, and a guided tour of Italy's countryside magic!

Day 1
Florence Arrival

Upon your arrival in Florence, a driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in the city centre. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city at your leisure. Florence is renowned as one of the most cultural and historical cities in the world and is packed full of amazing architecture. During your free time, you can visit the San Lorenzo Market, the 13th-century Palazzo Vecchio, Florence Cathedral or Piazza della Signoria.

Hop-on Hop-Off Florence City Tour

Enjoy a tasty breakfast at the hotel before heading out and spending the day exploring the many famous sites of Florence. You'll make your way around the city using the hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus. Which attractions you visit and how much time you spend at each is entirely at your discretion. You'll be able to visit the beautiful Florence Cathedral, the city's heart - Piazza del Duomo, Piazzale Michelangelo, Ponte Vecchio, the Accademia Gallery and the Boboli Gardens.

Day Trip to Cinque Terre From Florence

Today gets off to an early start. Breakfast will be at the hotel, then make your way to Piazzale Montelungo which is the departure point for your group day trip to Cinque Terre from Florence, home to one of the most incredible landscapes in the world. Visit stunning villages surrounded by sheer cliffs, hills and vineyards that look out the stunning coastline. On the tour, you'll have time to explore on your own as the group hops between the villages. Return to Florence at around 7.30 pm.
