Welcome to Opatija!

Upon arrival, you'll check-in at your four-star hotel situated in Opatija, have some free time to freshen up and get ready for the Croatia holiday ahead. There is no better way to get a feel for the soul of this region than to take a leisured walk of the town with a local guide. Your guide will meet you in front of your hotel and take you on an evening stroll through Opatija's romantic promenades and streets.

Day 2
Mount Učka Hike: Hills to Sea Trail

Your guide will meet you this morning for your Mount Učka hike. The trail will lead you through the forest until you reach a 1,012-metre-high hilltop sloping down into the sea. On the way to this point, you will pass through the beautiful landscape of Učka Nature Park. You will then take a trail descending via the east slope of Učka down to Medveja, a strip of coast with a beautiful beach. Afterwards, your guide can take you to the tavern offering home-made specialities and a spectacular view.

Day 3
Cres Island Hike

Today you'll start early; your guide will pick you up in front of your hotel at 6:45 a.m. You'll take a boat from Lovran to the island of Cres where you'll begin your hike from the north coast up to the tip of the Tramontana ridge. You will walk up for about 2.5 hours before getting to the ridge. You'll walk along the ridge for two hours before reaching Dragozetići village. After a picnic lunch, you'll have the afternoon to enjoy the island and hike a little more with your local guide.

Departure from Opatija
