Kathmandu is a legendary valley and you'll explore its top sights on this four-day tour in Nepal!
The valley was once a popular merchant route for Tibetan traders. Aside from the centre of Kathmandu, the suburb area and the green hills that surround the valley have many small villages that are beautiful. Passing by those villages is very rewarding because they offer the best spots to view Kathmandu valley, its landscape, Himalayan ranges and interesting lifestyle of gentle villagers. In addition, there are many culturally and historically important Hindu temples and Buddhist Monasteries.
This is the best suitable tour for people who prefer a rural environment but at the same time prefer proximity to the modern city and its facilities. Every day, you start from luxurious accommodation, walk across rural villages and jungles and finish the day there.

Day 1
Explore Kathmandu's Thamel & Welcome Dinner

Welcome to the beautiful Himalayan country of Nepal. Upon your arrival, you'll check-in and have a trip briefing you are free to explore the Thamel area. In the evening, you'll have a welcome dinner at an authentic Nepali restaurant with different cultural dances.

Day 2
Drive to Changu Narryan & Hike to Nagarkot

After an hour's drive to Changu Narayan, you'll visit the oldest Hindu Temple and then hike to Nagarkot through beautiful Tamang villages. Today's trek is moderate and incredibly scenic. You'll have many opportunities to stop along the way to take in the views and take some photographs.

Day 3
Drive to Namabuddha via Bhaktapur

Today on your tour in Nepal, you'll drive to Bhaktapur to see the ancient city and its main squares. You'll learn about the history behind the temples and shrines here, as well as the stunning Golden Gate, said to be the most beautiful in the world. You'll also have a lunch break here before you continue to drive on to Namabuddha - the holiest of sites.

Hike to Namabuddha & Departure

In the morning, you'll hike to the Namabuddha stupa, the most sacred in the world, said to be where Buddha gave up his body for the starving tigress. You'll then visit the surrounding villages, before returning to Kathmandu for your departing flight.
