Overview
This 4-day fly-in safari takes you to either Bwindi Impenetrable National Park on a Uganda gorilla tracking experience to remember.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a verdant magnificent swathe of rainforest across the steep ridges of the Albertine Rift Valley. This ancient rainforest is one of two on the African continent to be home to the world’s endangered population of mountain gorillas.
American zoologist George Schaller, one of the first people to study gorillas in the wild, once said: "No one who looks into the eyes of a Gorilla, gentle and vulnerable, can remain unchanged."

Day 1
Arrival in Entebbe

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel on the glistening shores of Lake Victoria. You'll have the remainder of the day to relax.

Day 2
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, you will catch a flight to a local airstrip close to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will be greeted upon arrival and transferred to Buhoma Lodge. Sit down to lunch and relax in the afternoon. At around 5 pm, you'll go on a walk along the trails to reach local villages in the area. You will return in good time for dinner.

Day 3
Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi
Hide details
Rise and shine in the early hours of the morning and have breakfast before you leave on your trek. Your trekking will start with a short briefing, then you'll be tracking. Depending on where the gorillas are today, this can take between 3-6 hours. When you find them, you'll have an hour to observe their behaviour and take photos. Upon your return to the lodge, you will have the rest of the day free to relax and explore at your leisure.

Return to Entebbe Airport
