Overview
Embark on a 5-day Morocco tour to discover the Agafay Desert, the wonderful red, mud-baked city of Marrakesh and the laid-back beach town of Essaouira!
Journeying into the desert, you'll spend the first part of this trip staying in a luxury Berber camp, eating traditional Moroccan dishes under the stars and waking up to silence. Leaving your desert escape behind, you'll arrive back in the bustling city of Marrakesh to dive into its endless souks and marvel at its wonderful monuments.
For the final part of your trip, you'll explore the charming beach town of Essaouira with its harbour lined with quaint little houses and a maze of market stalls.
This trip will deliver three very different but equally amazing parts of Morocco that will leave you wanting to discover more!

Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in Marrakesh & Travel to Agafay Desert

Upon arrival at Marrakesh airport, you'll meet your professional tour guide who will accompany you during your 5 day Morocco tour. You'll then be transferred to Agafay Desert by minivan with a driver, just a 40-minute drive from the bustle of Marrakesh. Upon arrival at the camp, you'll settle in with a warm welcoming dinner before retiring to your Berber tent.

Day 2
4x4 Desert Excursion & Return to Marrakesh

Today, you'll depart for an adventure by 4x4 as you set off to discover the Agafay Desert. You'll travel off-road passing by a small lake and Berber villages. You'll have time to get out and walk for a while along the tracks and you'll also have a tea break in a Berber village. You'll continue on to Terres d’Amanar, an estate located at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains where you'll be treated to a typical Berber lunch before continuing on your journey back to Marrakesh.

Day 3
Explore Marrakesh & Quad Biking Experience
Hide details
After breakfast, you'll discover Marrakesh and its great historical monuments with a local guide. You'll begin by visiting Jardin Majorelle, one of the most visited gardens in Morocco. You'll also visit Bahia Palace and the famous, bustling souks, the most exotic marketplaces to shop in the world. After a typical Moroccan lunch in the heart of the medina, you'll head off on a quad biking experience in the palm grove of Marrakesh before returning to the hotel for dinner and a show al fresco!

Travel to Essaouira & Explore with a Local Guide

Today, the whole day is devoted to discovering the city which is complete with a typically Portuguese harbour and fine examples of both Moorish and Portuguese art. Essaouira is considered as a part of a hidden Morocco. It is at once familiar and exotic with its fortified walls, fishing harbour and seagulls soaring and screaming over the town. You'll spend the day exploring the city with a local guide before returning to your hotel to get ready for dinner in the Essaouira Medina.
