The First Day of Your Florence to Rome Tour

Today, start your guided walking journey in Florence. Travel by Train to Rome

Your morning in Florence is free. After lunch, you will continue your Florence to Rome tour and depart for Rome, travelling by high-speed train. In the afternoon you have time to explore Rome on your own. Start from the city centre to discover the monuments and the palaces of the Baroque period: Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and Piazza di Spagna.

This morning meet your guide at the hotel lobby to visit the world’s smallest country and the centre of the Catholic World – Vatican City. Visit the impressive St. Peter’s Square and Church, and explore the Vatican Museums, Raffaello’s rooms and the Sistine Chapel. In the afternoon your guide will take you to tour Michelangelo’s Campidoglio (Capitoline Hill) where you can look out over the Roman Forum area, then continue to Imperial Forums and the ruins of Colosseum.
