Staying in the tropical oasis that is Palm Royale Cairns, you'll spend each day exploring a little slice of Tropical North Queensland. You'll spend a day meandering through pristine rainforest, rugged mountains and cascading waterfalls to the pretty village of Kuranda. After wandering around the unique township and exploring the markets, you'll glide over the World Heritage-listed rainforest before descending through the canopy layers and deep into the heart of the lush rainforest.
To explore the reef, you'll do it in style: by boat and by helicopter. Your experience will begin with a five-hour cruise exploring two stunning outer reef destinations, each with its own unique coral formations and diverse marine species. You'll then take to the skies for a spectacular helicopter journey over the magical waters of the Great Barrier Reef.

Welcome to Cairns

Today, upon arrival in Cairns, you'll be collected from the airport by your private driver and taken to your tropical oasis resort. After getting settled, you'll have the rest of the day free to either head out to explore Cairns on your own or relax poolside at your hotel.

Great Barrier Reef Cruise and Scenic Helicopter Flight

One of the best day trips from Cairns is a trip to the Great Barrier Reef. Today, you'll spend five hours exploring two stunning outer reef destinations, each with its own unique coral formations and diverse marine species. After an Aussie BBQ lunch and snorkelling out on the reef, you'll take to the air for a spectacular helicopter journey over the magical waters of the Great Barrier Reef. You'll sweep over coral gardens and sand cays, and see marine life from above before returning to Cairns.
