Overview
On this six-day Athens and Milos tour, you'll combine the best of ancient history and an escape into island life!
This trip will take you through two and a half thousand years of history. Starting in Europe's oldest capital, Athens, the myths and glory of this ancient city will unfold in front of you. This tour is specifically designed to showcase the best of the ancient and modern city and will allow you to dive deeper into the philosophy and essence of Greek life.
The next stop is Milos! A fair contestant to the title of the most romantic Greek island, Milos offers the ultimate Greek island escape. Picture yourself walking in the narrow cobblestone alleyways of Adamas, and lunching on delicious seafood and fish at the little town port. Harsh winds and volcanic soil have created some of the most unique natural phenomena in this little island.
During your time in Milos, you will experience the Milean hospitality, always accompanied by a glass of wine and Greek meze, dive into the stunning azure waters of secluded beaches and explore the traditional villages untouched by tourism.

Day 1
Welcome to Athens!

No matter what time your flight arrives, you will be received with a warm welcome to Greece. Athens, one of the oldest cities in the world, has many ancient and modern wonders to explore. After you acclimate to the beautiful Mediterranean weather, you will embark on a private evening tour of Athens. Walking through the cobblestones of Plaka and Monastiraki, you will get your first look at the Acropolis!

Day 2
Explore the City of Athens!

A full day of history awaits you, that will take you through the symbol of Athens, the Parthenon, and the sixth-best museum in the world, the Acropolis museum. One of Athens best archaeologists will be there to privately guide you and unravel 3,000 years of Athenian history. After lunch, your tour will continue to the trilogy of Athens: Thision, Kallimarmaro Stadium and many hidden picturesque neighbourhoods around Athens.

Day 3
Begin your Milos Tour!

Early in the morning, you'll catch the ferry to Milos, one of the most romantic destinations in Greece. You'll spend the next few days immersing yourself into the Cycladic rhythm of life, exploring the cobblestone alleyways of Adamas, dining on the picturesque waterfront and admiring the endless white and blue of the Agean and traditional architecture. A winery tour will be arranged for you later in the afternoon, where you will sample some of the best local varieties and Greek meze.

Milos Tour - Explore the Island!

Today is a day full of exploring! Your friendly associates will pick you up after breakfast to commence a sightseeing trip around the island of Milos. You will visit several picture-perfect little villages and the famous Sarakiniko beach, so make sure to pack your camera and a swimsuit! You will also get the chance to explore the ancient theatre, the catacombs of Milos and visit the spot where the famous Venus of Milos was discovered!

Milos Cruising

Today, you'll embark on a ten-hour cruise of Milos and its surrounding coves and beaches. Starting from the port of Adamas, you will make several stops along the Milaen coastline at little-known secluded beaches, with plenty of time for bathing, snorkelling and relaxing. It will be a wonderful day experiencing the best of this island and ending with a beautiful sunset over the sea.

Goodbye Greece
