Day 1
Arrival in Adelaide

On arrival into Adelaide pick up your rental car in the city and drive only 45 minutes to a hidden gem in South Australia. McLaren Vale is not only known for its wineries but it also has the highest concentrations of artists in the region. The dynamic thriving arts scene and cultural fabric of the McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Coast are not to be missed.

Day 2
The Blending Bench and Degustation Tour
Hide details
Head to the Fleurieu’s iconic d’Arenberg Cube. Here you will enjoy the Blending Bench & Degustation tour starting at the Alternate Realities Museum where you'll do a self-guided exploration through the space filled with wall-to-wall art installations. The Blending Bench is a hands-on, interactive experience where you play winemaker to create your own bottle. Finish the morning with an eight-course degustation menu in d'Arrys Verandah, overlooking the rolling hills of McLaren Vale.

Day 3
Drive to Cape Jarvis and Kangaroo Island

This morning take the scenic drive to Cape Jarvis, where you will pass through the historic Willunga, seaside town of Normaville and arrive in Second Valley for your ‘Feed me Journey’ starting with a lunch stop at Leonards Mill. Everything at Leonards Mill is sourced from family-run farms on the Fleurieu Peninsula. They pride themselves on ethical sustainability: paddock to plate: nose to tail: root to leaf. Continue on to Cape Jarvis in time to board the Sealink Ferry to Kangaroo Island.

Get ready for a jammed packed day on your Kangaroo Island Wilderness tour. Hop from conversation parks to wildlife parks to between bays and beach where you can relax and enjoy the verdant nature of Kangaroo Island and all the animals that it is home to. You'll have a picnic lunch unlike any other, with local products paired with Kangaroo Island wines. The last conversation park of the day will be a highlight, where you'll meet the rare glossy black cockatoo, wallabies and the elusive echidna.

Free Day on Kangaroo Island

Take your own scenic drive to the far end of Kangaroo Island. Here you can visit some of the best this part of Kangaroo Island has to offer. Visit Flinders Chase National Park to start off your natural adventure, then continue to the Remarkable Rocks, you might then continue to see koalas and kangaroos in Koala Avenue and Grassdale. Why not stop by the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Macgillivray and find out how traditional Aussie bush products are made or do a tasting at the Drunken Drone Brewery?
