Start in Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, a cosmopolitan Mediterranean city with Roman remains, medieval quarters and the most beautiful examples of Modernist architectural style. Also home to a stunning golden-sanded beach, one of Spain's most-loved and most treasured.

Spend time in Madrid, renowned for its rich European art and the heart of old Hapsburg royalties and Baroque Palaces.

Then move on to Andalusia’s age-old history that has left behind a wealth of artistic heritage. The Alhambra in Granada, the Great Mosque of Cordoba and the Giralda Tower and old town of Seville are just a few of the World Heritage Sites you'll discover along this journey.

As you drive from Madrid to Seville to Granada and back to Madrid, you'll pass by stunning towns filled with white-washed houses, cobbled streets and ancient architecture.

Depart by the motorway towards Lleida and Saragossa. This city is the capital of the autonomous region of Aragon that offers you 2000 years of history. Leave towards the centre of Spain by the motorway passing by the towns of Calatayud, Alcolea del Pinar and Guadalajara before to arriving in Madrid.

Madrid to Cordoba

Drive south to Aranjuez and then crossing La Mancha Lands, you will pass by Puerto Lápice, known for its wines and through the Pass of Despeñaperros, you will enter Andalusia, passing by the industrial town of Bailen, Andújar - one of the most important olive-producing areas of Spain. Arrive in Cordoba, that has been declared World Heritage City by the UNESCO.

Seville to Granada

Today, you'll drive from Seville crossing the Andalusian region from west to east and passing the towns of Osuna and Antequera, before arriving in Granada. Once you arrive in Granada, you should visit the Old Quarter with important monuments such as the Royal Chapel and the Cathedral, the Church of San Juan de Dois in Baroque style, the Monastery of San Jeronimo in Renaissance style and the Sacromonte gypsy neighbourhood.

Granada to Madrid via Baeza and Ubeda

Today you'll leave Granada and head back towards Madrid, stopping at the beautiful cities of Baeza and Ubeda on the way. Baeza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to many beautiful Rennaissance and Gothic architectural wonders. A little further up the road, you'll come across the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ubeda, full of beautiful squares, white-washed houses and Renaissance architecture. After Ubeda, you'll continue to your final destination, Madrid.
