Overview
Over eight beautiful days, you'll visit, explore and get to know four iconic cities in Italy as you travel from Milan to Rome.
Start the tour in Milan to admire the Gothic architecture in its streets and continue to the floating city of Venice, home to 100 islands. Here, you'll explore this wonderful water city and learn about its history on a walking tour with a knowledgable guide.
Moving on to Florence, you'll learn what Tuscany is all about: food, wine and Renaissance. In the "Eternal City" of Rome, you'll discover the romance of this city through its ancient and historic monuments and dive into the heart of the Catholic world with a visit to the Vatican City.

Day 1
Begin Your Journey from Milan to Rome

Upon your arrival, your personal driver will pick you up at the airport to reach your hotel in Milan city centre. After checking into your hotel, you have the day free to explore Milan at your leisure. Visit the Gothic architecture at the spectacular Duomo, stroll around the historic city park, Giardini di Via Palestro or do a spot of shopping in one of Italy's oldest shopping malls.

Milan City Tour

This morning you will embark on a guided walking tour of the city of Milan, visiting its major landmarks and learning about its history. On the tour, you will visit, amongst others, the Milan cathedral, the Sforzesco castle as well as the Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery. After you will head to Santa Maria delle Grazie, a church the contains the mural of The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci. In the afternoon, you will catch a high-speed train to Venice.

Today you will meet your personal guide to enjoy a half-day walking tour of the city. Venice’s charm lies both in its unique civil engineering achievements, and in the harmony of Eastern and Western artistic styles that have flourished here over the centuries. Your tour highlights some of the major sites that define the look and history of Venice and includes visits to Doges Palace, St Mark’s Basilica and St Mark’s square. In the afternoon, you will go on a guided visit to Murano and Burano.

Day 4
Venice to Florence and Food Tour

This late morning you will board a private boat to reach the train station in Venice and catch a high-speed train to Florence. From Florence train station your personal driver will transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon you will take a unique culinary tour around Florence to discover the flavours of this region. Visit the local market of San Lorenzo and enjoy a wine tasting with regional cold cuts. A guide will take you on a journey of the history of Italian culinary traditions.

Florence Historical Tour

At the hotel lobby, you will meet your personal guide and start your historical walking tour to see some of the most important landmarks and monuments of Florence. Start your tour from the Piazza della Repubblica, the heart of the city, and stroll around the medieval quarter. You will continue to Santa Croce Church, decorated with frescoes and featuring Brunelleschi architecture. You’ll finish the tour admiring the impressive Gothic details inside the Duomo.

Florence to Rome

This morning your personal driver will transfer you to Florence train station, where you will catch a high-speed train to Rome. Upon arrival at the train station in Rome, you will meet your personal driver to take you to your hotel in the city centre. Today you will discover Rome on a guided tour to discover the monuments and the palace of the Baroque period. You will start at the famous landmark of Piazza Navona continuing on to the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and ending in Piazza di Spagna.

Visit the impressive St. Peter’s square and Church, and explore the Vatican Museums. In the afternoon you will continue to discover Rome with your guide. Start the tour from Michelangelo’s Campidoglio where you can look out over the Roman Forum area, then continue to the Imperial Forums and the ruins of the Colosseum.
