This iconic 8-day trip to Australia will take you from Sydney, New South Wales, to Uluru and finishing in Northern Queensland. You will start by exploring the very best of Sydney, including the Bridge Climb, a harbour cruise and an afternoon at Bondi Beach.

From here, you'll head to the reef. One of Australia’s most remarkable natural gifts, the Great Barrier Reef is blessed with the breathtaking beauty of the world’s largest coral reef. The reef contains an abundance of marine life and comprises over 3000 individual reef systems and coral cays with hundreds of picturesque tropical islands and arguably some of the world’s most beautiful sun-soaked, golden beaches.

Day 1

A Perfect Day in Sydney

Sydney is stunning. There is no doubt that sparkling harbour makes it a hugely attractive destination, but there’s lots more going for it than just natural beauty. You'll start the morning with a Sydney Harbour Bridge climb before heading to iconic Bondi Beach for lunch at the famous Icebergs and to enjoy the sun before heading back to your hotel.

Today, you'll enjoy a unique, luxury private four-hour cruise experience. Your captain and host will share the rich history of Sydney Harbour and its foreshore as you take in the sites of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Sydney Opera House and the bays and coves of Sydney Harbour. You'll enjoy a gourmet three-course BBQ lunch with regional wines, local beers and 5-star service and sit back, relax on the expansive sunbed and soak up the serenity.

Fly to Uluru & Sound of Silence Dinner

City exploring done, get ready to be blown away by World Heritage-listed natural wonders, iconic wildlife and the rugged beauty of the Australian Outback. The Uluru region is home to two of Australia's most famous rock formations, a mighty canyon and an ancient indigenous culture rich in story, dance and art. You'll fly to Ayers Rock Airport from Sydney and be transferred to your luxury accommodation. In the evening, you'll dine in an open-air restaurant under the Southern Desert night sky.

Today, you'll see the sunrise at Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and take a walk with your local guide to the Valley of the Winds. You'll hear fascinating stories of the geology, history and culture of Kata Tjuta. This incredible formation of rock domes extends six kilometres into the ground and is the remains of erosion that began more than 500 million years ago. The walk to Valley of the Winds takes you down into a timeless haven within the domes through trickling creek beds.

Today you'll get an early start and fly to Cairns before heading to Port Douglas. Famous for being located between two of the world's most valued World Heritage-listed areas, the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest, Port Douglas continues to delight visitors of all ages and origins. You'll be staying in the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, set among 147 hectares of tropical gardens on 4-Mile Beach along the Coral Sea.
