Overview
Travel to Argentina and delve into the hidden realm of Patagonia that will take you to frosty destinations including El Chaltén; the cradle of trekking in Patagonia where you'll take on the mesmerising trail to the base of Mount Fitz Roy, imposing and beautiful as it towers over the lagoon.

Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in El Calafate
Hide details 
Travel to Argentina and be transferred to El Calafate. This lively city is the gateway to Argentinian Patagonia and Los Glaciares National Park. Today, you can choose to rest, or alternatively, you might want to visit the Ice Museum to become acquainted with what's to come in the following days.

Day 2
Perito Moreno Glacier by Nautic Safari

Travel the distance separating El Calafate and Perito Moreno glacier. During the trip, you'll see beautiful places in the Andean foothills, along the south bank of Lake Argentino. After crossing the river Centinela and Mitre, you'll enter the Los Glaciares National Park. You'll start to see icebergs floating on the water until we finally appreciate the full extent of this natural wonder! You can explore the glacier via the walkways.

Day 3
Travel to El Chalten - Argentina's National Capital of Trekking

This morning, you'll be taken to the station to take the bus to El Chalten. When you arrive, you'll make your own way to the hotel in the town centre. A small population led to the founding of El Chalten in 1985 in the heart of a spectacular Andean landscape. Considered the National Capital of Trekking in Argentina, there are many different routes to choose from. If you have time today, you can take a shorter trail to explore.

Return to Calafate

Travel to Torres del Paine National Park in Chile

Today, you'll make the truly spectacular journey through the Andes to reach Chlie. Leaving the city of Calafate, you'll arrive in Torres del Paine National Park in the early afternoon. All of the trails are organised by your accommodation, so you can start planning as soon as you arrive. You may want to explore on a smaller trail today.
