Begin your trip from Rome to Venice today! Upon arrival in Rome, you'll be picked up at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Board a snappy Ape Calessino and visit the Trevi Fountain, the largest Baroque fountain in the city and the most beautiful in the world. Then, you'll move to the Castel Sant'Angelo, the tomb for Emperor Hadrian. While all the other monuments of the Roman era are reduced to ruins, the castle is telling of the fortunes and history of Rome almost two thousand years ago.

After breakfast, you'll visit the Vatican city with your guided tour of the Vatican Museums. One of the great and largest collections of artworks in the world, and walk around the Pope's galleries which could take up an entire day. However, your guide will show you the most important and impressive pieces so you still have time for other activities. You'll have the rest of the day to explore the city, get lost in the winding streets and sample some of the local delicacies.

After breakfast, you'll check out and hop on a train transfer to Florence. In the afternoon, you'll have a walking tour during which you will visit the imposing Piazza del Duomo, the Square of the Dome and the Florence Cathedral. Your guide will give you a brief introduction before leading you into the quieter streets of the Santa Croce neighbourhood. This is where Dante used to hang out and where Michelangelo both lived and was buried. Few visitors venture into this part of town.

After breakfast, you'll check out and take the train to Venice. You'll meet your local guide in the afternoon for a stroll around Venice to see the main highlights of the floating city. Meeting in St. Mark’s Square, you’ll take a few moments to appreciate this incredible space - it's absolutely enormous! Then you'll move onto to the Doge’s Palace, the real heart of the Republic of Venice – home to the duke, the government, torture chambers, prisons and so much more.

After a light breakfast, you'll go to the meeting point to begin your gastronomic adventure of Venice. Start your day by discovering the local market of Rialto with its colourful products and arousing smells. Then start your food tour in local bars (bacari), followed by a gondola ride across the canal to the Jewish Ghetto to continue your food tour. In the afternoon, you'll be free to enjoy the wonders of this beautiful city.
