Day 1

On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in central Venice. You can spend the rest of the day at your own leisure: you will need to settle and get some rest to recover from the flight and jetlag. You will spend the afternoon exploring the hidden gems of Venice with a tour in the typical “Bacari”.You will explore the most authentic areas of Venice and enjoy the lively atmosphere of “bacari”, the typical Venetian wine bar. Here you will taste some delicious Venetian-style tapas called Cicchetti while a local sommelier will guide you into the world of Prosecco, Spritz, and other extraordinary wines from Veneto.

This morning you explore the city, starting with St Mark’s Square, the Doge's Palace, the Marciana Library, the Procuratie, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs and the Prisons. Then, you will spend an hour on a private water taxi meandering the canals! You'll navigate along the Grand Canal and a maze of minor waterways, exploring Dorsoduro and San Polo, as you go through alleyways, bridges, and witness everyday life behind the touristic scene. The tour will end in Rialto, the bustling heart of Venice.

Day at your leisure to explore Venice; we suggest you discover the real Venice on your own with its hidden squares and tales about the city. We recommend you explore the Grand Canal with the public transportation system called Vaporetto that regularly goes up and down, connecting several stops along the route. You can also visit the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello, sailing past the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, the S. Elena gardens and the Lido, famous for its beaches on the way.

Early morning, you will take the boat to the train station and head to Florence. In the early afternoon, you go on a tour of the “Italian Genius in Florence” that takes you through the historical centre. From the Ponte Vecchio to Piazza della Signoria, through Palazzo Strozzi and Piazza della Repubblica, you admire the beautiful Santa Maria Novella and, of course, Santa Maria del Fiore. In the evening, you will take part in a cooking class in a beautiful location in Florence, where you can improve your culinary skills by adding new Tuscan recipes to your cookbook.

Today, you will spend the morning at leisure in Florence. Early afternoon, you will join a small group tour which will let you discover the beauties of Siena, San Gimignano, and the Chianti countryside, before admiring the sunset on the Tuscan hills and tasting a typical dinner in a fascinating location. During the visit to Siena, you will also have the opportunity to have a surprise tasting of a typical product. The journey continues to San Gimignano, where you will enjoy a typical Tuscan dinner at a boutique winery in the Chianti countryside. During your dinner, you will also enjoy a wine tasting, pairing different wines with the various courses of your Tuscan meal.
