This morning, you'll drive to Rio's downtown area, appreciating the city’s landmarks and some of its finest architecture on the way. From the Urca neighbourhood, you'll take two glass cable cars and appreciate the beautiful lush views surrounding the iconic Sugar Loaf Mountain. Afterwards, you'll head to the Gamboa district to immerse yourself in Rio Carnival history and for a caipirinha tasting.

Today, you'll hop in a convertible Jeep and drive along the southern beaches to Santa Teresa, a district where tradition and a relaxed atmosphere blend perfectly. You'll admire the beautiful street art, galleries, and handicraft shops. Then, you'll stop at the Selarón Steps, 215 colourful steps covered in bright ceramic mosaics. Afterwards, you'll hit the trails in the Tijuca rainforest and walk 1.2 kilometres to the beautiful Cascatinha Waterfall, keeping your eyes peeled for animals and birds.

Today, you'll make the long shared transfer to Buzios. The transfer to Buzios is shared with other travellers and can take up to five hours with stops at airports to pick up other travellers. Upon arrival, you'll check into your hotel and then have the rest of the afternoon and evening free to relax at your hotel or explore your surroundings on your own.

Today, you'll have two exciting activities. The first is a catamaran tour with multiple stops to snorkel and swim and appreciate the white sandy beaches. Then, in the afternoon, you'll head out on a trolley tour to explore Buzios and its peninsula. You'll drive along the coast and enjoy the views, feel the air on your skin, and smell the ocean. You'll stop at two different viewpoints to appreciate stunning panoramic views with the different bays and nearby islands.

This morning, you'll leave your hotel in Buzios and drive 176 kilometres to the airport in Rio de Janeiro. Here, you'll check-in for your flight to Fortaleza which takes just over three hours. You will be welcomed at Fortaleza airport and driven to your hotel. Fortaleza is located on Brazil’s northeastern coast. Whilst here, you'll discover its history, nightlife, restaurants, and rich culture. It is known for its cotton industry, clothes manufacturing and beautifully hand-embroidered linens.

You'll leave Fortaleza and drive 37 kilometres west to the Caucaia district. You'll arrive in Cumbuco, an old fishing village surrounded by stunning landscapes filled with dunes, coconut trees, and small ponds. You'll spend some time at Cumbuco beach where you can relax and swim. Adrenaline seekers can try different activities: a tour on a traditional boat called a “jangada”, go on a donkey or buggy tour, or try the local sport known as “ski-bunda”.

During your city tour of Fortaleza, you'll explore the old and modern districts. In the historic centre, you'll wander around the beautiful colonial buildings. You'll stop at the Metropolitan Cathedral, a Roman Catholic Church with an eclectic, neo-gothic style that towers 75 metres high. During your tour, you'll pass by important landmarks like President Castelo Branco's Mausoleum, Martyr Square, the Iracema Statue and Meireles Beach with its famous handicrafts fair.
