Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Nairobi and Transfer to Laikipia District

Start your safari in Kenya by arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) where you will be met outside arrivals by your driver. Driving north for approximately four hours through the fertile lands and coffee plantations of the Kikuyu tribe, will take you into the Laikipia region. The award-winning Olepangi Farm Guesthouse will be your home for the next 3 nights.

Day Trip to the Lolldaiga Hills Ranch

Enjoy the facilities and surroundings of Lolldaiga Hills ranch. Absorb the magnificent scenery and wildlife along the way - you have a good chance of seeing elephants, giraffes, buffalo and many other wildlife species. Relax under the shade of a fig tree and enjoy a freshly prepared picnic before you go on an afternoon game drive around the grounds.

Day Trip to Ngare Ndare Forest Reserve

After a delicious breakfast, you will drive to the Ngare Ndare Forest, with picnic lunches in hand. Walk through the forest canopy spotting birds and elephants along the way. You'll have time to stop and swim in the waterfalls and enjoy the peace around you to cool down after your walk. You will return back to the lodge in time for sundowners and dinner.

Drive from Laikipia to Nakuru

Leave Laikipia shortly after breakfast and take a three-hour drive to Nyahururu where you can stretch your legs while visiting Thomson's Falls before lunch. Back in the car, it will be another two-hour drive down the side of the escarpment into Nakuru town and onwards to the vast plains of Lake Nakuru National Park.

Spend today exploring the Nakuru National Park. Teeming with wildlife, including black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, hippos and giraffe, today you are guaranteed sightings of large numbers of animal.. Enjoy a full day of game viewing with early morning and afternoon game drives, resting at your camp looking out across the savannah in between.

Transfer from Nakuru to the Masai Mara

It's a long day today with a seven-hour drive to reach the Masai Mara, you will leave Flamingo Hill with a picnic lunch and stop along the way to stretch your legs. You will arrive at Ilkeliani Camp in time to relax before a well-earned drink around the campfire and a delicious, freshly cooked dinner, listening carefully for any wildlife that might be around the camp.

Explore the Masai Mara and it's surrounding areas with lots of options for wonderful photographic opportunities. This is the finest and most abundant wildlife reserve in Kenya, so you are guaranteed an experience unlike any other! You'll finish the day with a sundowner.
