Overview

Embark on a truly exceptional nine-day journey to the highlights of Peru!

Your adventure begins with visits to the Sacred Valley of the Incas to see the preeminent works of the Inca at Pisac and Ollantaytambo and the ancient Salt Pans of Maras. With your body acclimated after some nights at altitude, you'll venture out on an Inca Trail tour hike. This privately guided adventure across the Andean pathways of the Inca will uncover little-visited ruins such as Winay Wayna clinging to the hillside in a spectacular setting.

Onward to our destination and it comes as a rapturous entrance via the Sun Gate as Machu Picchu appears through the mists below from your lofty vantage. This vista will be an abiding memory to hold until time eternity. The next day, you'll head out on a private tour of the citadel with an expert guide.

Next, you'll travel to Cusco with its inimitable beautiful self draped in a fusion of Inca ruins, colonial influences and of course an enigmatic Latin vibe. This is to be expected as a place that stood as the very centre of the Inca civilization.

Your penultimate journey is across the Andes to the shores of Lake Titicaca. Here, you'll avoid the typical tourist routes and prefer to venture away from the well-trodden paths. The journey across the ancient villages and traditions of Taquile, Llachon and Uros Ccapi are sure to cast you back in time to a life of veritable simplicity in nature.
