Over nine days, you'll discover the best of Croatia with a local guide!

Beginning in the beguiling capital city of Zagreb, you'll travel to the stunning Plitvice Lakes National Park to explore these stunning interconnected lakes before heading to Split, home to the iconic UNESCO World Heritage site of Diocletian's Palace.

After a brief tour to Trogir, a medieval coastal town, you'll catch a boat to the island of Korcula, best known for being the believed birthplace of the famous world explorer, Marco Polo. After being charmed by the fortified Old Town in the heart of the island, you'll head to your final destination.

Your last few days will be spent in Dubrovnik, one of the world's most spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Cities. Encircled by imposing ancient stone walls, elegant marbled streets, magnificent medieval architecture and a wealth of historic churches and palaces will characterise your visit!

Welcome to Croatia! You will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your accommodation in Zagreb. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy. You can get out and explore the historic city or take advantage of the hotel's many amenities. The city is split into 17 districts, one of them lying close to the Sava River whilst a few lie at the foot of the Medvednica mountain, which makes the city's geography diverse and interesting to its visitors.

Today, you'll transfer to your accommodation in Selište Drežničko, a few kilometres from the iconic Plitvice National Park, the oldest and largest National Park in Croatia. Plitvice Lakes is made up of a system of 16 named inter-connecting lakes which are split between the Upper and Lower Lakes together with over 90 waterfalls. Today, you'll explore this spectacular national park on a self-guided tour via a network of wooden boardwalks which meander through the stunning ecosystem.

The popular Riva promenade is a short stroll away from your hotel, and you can find plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants there. The ferry port is also situated within close proximity, which makes exploring the beautiful islands in the coastal region extremely easy.

Today, you will make your way to Korcula via a private transfer and catamaran. Once there, you can relax at your hotel or take a 15-minute walk to explore Korcula's fortified Old Town. Surrounded by a wall and dotted with towers that protect its people, the Old Town maintains its medieval charm, lined with cafes, restaurants and even an open-air cinema. The town is most famous for being the hometown of Marco Polo, the Venetian merchant who was one of the first to travel the Silk Road.

Today, you'll take a trip to Lumbarda whilst stopping to try a selection of Korcula's tastiest food and drink products. The first stop will be at the home of a young beekeeper where you'll try a range of honey and learn how it is made. You'll continue to Lumbarda to visit a family-run winery and try their wines, and then onto a local homestead. Here, you'll enjoy the company of Ivan and taste his homemade goods, as well as some delicious pancakes with jam before driving back to Korcula.
