Welcome to Hanoi! Your driver will be welcoming you at Noi Bai airport; it takes 35 minutes driving to the hotel in the centre of Hanoi. After checking in, you'll have the rest of the day free to spend as you wish. You may want to enjoy the local beer at Ta Hien Street or experience the ambience of sleepless streets with live music. There are hundreds of bars and pubs in the Old Quarter or just simply spend your time at shopping malls or various boutiques.

After breakfast, you'll be picked up to visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex. Then you'll visit the One Pillar Pagoda, which is actually a group of structures that collectively make up a pagoda built over the water in the middle of a square lake. After that, you’ll have a chance to explore the Tran Quoc Pagoda on the shore of West Lake. Lunch will be at a local restaurant in the Old Quarter. You'll leave Hanoi behind and enter Pu Luong Nature Reserve by road via a breathtaking mountain pass giving you a panoramic view of the whole valley. You'll arrive at your accommodation in time for a delicious lunch, followed by free time to explore the beautiful retreat, with its captivating panoramic views and tranquil setting. In the afternoon, you'll head out on a water wheels and rafting experience along the river.

This morning after breakfast, you'll have the chance to get close to village life and interact with locals living in the hills above the Pu Long Retreat. You'll get a glimpse at daily life, walk around working farmland and rice fields and learn about making rice wine and weaving colourful textiles, followed by lunch at the lodge. You'll then be taken back to Hanoi by private car and have the rest of the day free to spend as you wish.

Onwards to Halong Bay

From Hanoi to Halong, you will pass by the Red River Delta with green paddy fields and rural villages, where hard-work farmers are busy with their farming jobs, ploughing buffaloes or planting seedling. Upon arrival in Halong, you’ll board a big boat to cruise the bay to discover the magnificent beauty of this bay, created by thousands of odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes. Your guide on board will point out the particularly beautiful formations.

Halong Bay to Hanoi to Nha Trang

Continue your Vietnam adventure tour by visiting the Luon Cave by boat. This cave has a ring-shaped pool inside with an absolute tranquil landscape and emerald water. You'll then travel back to the mainland passing the densest area with many islands that have been named. You'll arrive back at Halong Wharf around 11 am and hop in a transfer to Hanoi airport where you'll board your flight to Nha Trang. Upon arrival, you'll be taken to your city centre hotel and have the rest of the day free.
