Overview
On this San Sebastian tour, you'll make your way from Bilbao and en route, visit two amazing sights.
Gaztelugatxe is a tiny yet beautiful islet on the coast of Biscay which is dedicated to John the Baptist. The island is connected to the mainland by a man-made stone bridge with a narrow path made up of 241 steps which zigzag their way to the top and the church which sits on the island.
The stunning setting was chosen as the perfect home for the Mother of Dragons in the world-famous Game of Thrones series.
You'll finish the day with a visit to the family txakoli winery where you'll have the opportunity to taste the txakoli wine, learn about its production process and enjoy some of the local produce.

Today, you'll begin your San Sebastian tour by visiting Gaztelugatxe, a tiny yet amazing islet on the coast of Biscay, dedicated to John the Baptist. Connected to the mainland by a man-made stone bridge, the narrow path with 241 steps zigzags its way to the top and the church. Make sure to ring the bell three times for good luck when you reach the church. Then, you'll visit a local family txakoli winery and revel in the opportunity to taste the legendary txakoli wine.
