You can arrive by car or you can use the private transfer offered from the airport. In the middle of this Croatian green oasis is the municipality of Mrkopalj. You will be waking up to the chirping of birds in a small family-run guest house during your entire stay. After checking in, you will be welcomed by your host followed by a four-course welcome dinner.

Full-Day Guided Tour into Traditions of Southern Gorski Kotar

To begin your guided tour of the southern part of the region, you'll meet your guide and visit a honeybee farm for a tour and a tasting. Horse-drawn carriages were a widespread means of transport in this area, and today you'll meet the local coachman and take a ride around the lake. In the afternoon, you'll try a speciality of the region: frogs legs! By visiting local farms and family-run crafts, you offer support to local farmers who rely on those small industries for a living.

Devil’s Passage Hiking Tour of Zeleni Vir and Vražji Prolaz

Today, you'll take on a famous hike in this region. Zeleni Vir and Vražji Prolaz are the most beautiful natural attractions in Gorski Kotar. The canyon is about 800 metres long and in some sections only two metres wide. Along the canyon runs a footpath, made up of bridges and staircases, sometimes cut into the rocks. Vražji Prolaz canyon along with the spring Zeleni Vir, and the waterfall of the stream Curka, will make this excursion an unforgettable if not even transformative experience.

Experience the Life of the Risnjak National Park on a Guided Tour

On your way to Hrib village, you'll meet your guide, a biologist and a plant enthusiast, and stop in Delnice to visit the small local shops. There, you will visit the old mill from 1924. In Hrib village, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and River Kupa Valley and learn about its history. You'll enjoy a tasting lunch of traditional, local products including goat cheese before continuing to the Risnjak National Park for a hiking tour. Later, enjoy a farewell dinner.
