Overview
On this five-day Nepal hiking tour, you'll explore the wonderful villages situated around Kathmandu Valley.
On the way, you'll take a unique city tour in Bhaktapur followed by an interesting uphill drive to the Nagarkot viewpoint. It is a pleasant walk to Nagarkot from the hiking point Telekotk. You'll witness daily life in Tamang village and walk through quiet woods and cultivated terraces in Nagarkot, Dhulikhel and Nambuddha.

Day 1
Welcome to Kathmandu, Half-Day Sightseeing Tour & Dinner Show

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you'll be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in the city. After settling in, you'll head out on a half-day sightseeing tour of the key sights in the city. In the evening, you'll head to a local restaurant for a welcome dinner with your guide.

Day 2
Drive to Changu & Hike to Nagarkot

You'll start the scenic six-hour hiking trail to Nagarkot, a hill station offering spectacular sunset views over the Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayan mountain region. Starting at Changu Narayan, you'll explore the stunning temple found here before beginning the hike. Part of the hike is the Nagarkot Nature Hiking Trail, which takes around three and a half hours to complete and includes Tamang village. This journey offers panoramic views throughout.

Hike to Namabuddha & Drive to Bhaktapur

Today, you'll hike to Nama Buddha, a historical place with one of the four holiest Buddhist shrines. You'll explore the area that includes a legendary Buddhist stupa, Phenomenal Buddhist Monastery and more. In the later afternoon, you'll drive one hour back to Bhaktapur for your final overnight stay.
