Overview
This trip is perfect if you want to see the most important sites of Sri Lanka but don’t have a long time. You will go on a 7-day Sri Lanka tour to immerse yourself in this country’s rich cultural heritage, sun-kissed coastal shorelines and multiple UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Start your trip in the enigmatic city of Kandy, where you will learn about traditional Ayurveda practices and indigenous herbs and plants of Sri Lanka. Make your way to admire the beauty of the gushing waterfalls in the Nuwara Eliya highlands and visit some of the lush tea plantations and English-style cottages here.
Leave the countryside and head towards the coastal area of Sri Lanka. Go on a wild jeep safari in the famous Yala National Park, and come into close contact with some of the most incredible native species of animal, such as crocodiles, elephants and leopards.
Finish your week-long trip in Galle admiring the remnants of Portuguese and Dutch architecture that are present in every building and monument of this picturesque city.

Start Your 7-Day Sri Lanka Tour

A private driver will meet you and transfer you to Kandy to start your 7-day Sri Lanka tour. On the way, visit the Ranweli spice garden for an introduction to Sri Lankan indigenous Ayurveda plants, spices and enjoy a 15-minute Ayurveda massage. Check in to your hotel and later proceed to visit a gem museum and wood carving factory followed by viewing an entertaining Kandyan cultural dance performance.

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy and take part in the daily morning veneration ceremony conducted at the temple. Afterwards, you will proceed on a scenic journey to Nuwara Eliya. En-route you will stop to see the breathtaking waterfalls of as Ramboda Falls and Lover's Leap Falls before checking into your new hotel in the evening.

Explore Nuwara Eliya

Visit the charming town of Nuwara Eliya and enjoy the sight of beautifully manicured gardens and British type homes and buildings in the morning. Later you will experience the full process of tea production at a local tea factory. After you will visit a lush strawberry farm and take a stroll around the scenic Gregory Lake, where many visitors spend their time relaxing or enjoying the magnificent views.

Day 4
Nuwara Eliya to Yala

After breakfast embark on the trip to Yala. Located in the deep south territory of Sri Lanka, Yala is the second largest national park in the country, home to many endemic species and it boasts one of the highest densities of leopards in the world. Once you arrive, you will check into your hotel and you can relax for the rest of the day.

Yala Safari

Today you will visit Yala National Park early in the morning with a packed breakfast, home to the highest density of Leopards in the world and is the second-largest national park in Sri Lanka. You will go on a jeep safari around the park and get close to exotic birds and different species of animals including leopards, wild elephants, deer, wild boars, sambars, snakes and crocodiles. Proceed to Weligama later and relax at your hotel in the evening.

Explore Galle

Proceed towards Galle after breakfast. Built by the Dutch, beginning in 1663, Galle's core is its fort, a walled enclave surrounded on three sides by the ocean. A Unesco World Heritage Site, this historic city is a delight to explore on foot, an endlessly exotic old trading port blessed with imposing Dutch-colonial buildings, ancient mosques and churches, grand mansions and museums. Wandering its rambling lanes you'll pass stylish cafes, quirky boutiques and impeccably restored hotels.
