Today, you'll be up early for your coach and cruise tour to Milford Sound. Upon boarding your luxury coach in Queenstown, you'll travel along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and through the rolling countryside. This is considered one of the most beautiful drives in the world. Accompanied by a nature guide, you'll join an extended and leisurely cruise of Milford Sound to the Tasman Sea on the Milford Mariner or Milford Wanderer. Keep a lookout for wildlife including seals, dolphins and penguins.

Today, you'll drive a leisurely 71 kilometres to Lake Wanaka. On the way, be sure to stop in at the late 19th-century Cardrona Hotel, a reminder of the Otago gold rush era. Your new home for two nights is Oakridge Resort Lake Wanaka, a hotel set in a stunning mountain landscape offering spectacular views of New Zealand’s Southern Alps. Today, you'll have the day free to explore the Wanaka region. If you're feeling like a spike of adrenaline will do you good, you can climb the world’s highest waterfall cable climb (via feratta) with WildWire Wānaka! After the safety checks, your expert guide will lead the way – walking over suspension bridges and scrambling up huge boulders. Be on the lookout for hidden pools before climbing up alongside a large waterfall.
