After breakfast, we will explore Nepal with a full day of sightseeing in medieval Kritipur. This city feels as old as time. As you walk around the narrow streets, you'll be captivated by the ancient temples with their ornate carvings. Your day tour will finish at the iconic Swoyambhu Nath temple, located on top of the hill with views of the city and distant mountains.

Drive to Barahi and Trek to Nuwakot

It is a 50 km drive to Barahi, from where you start of the trek to Nuwakot. Pass by beautiful villages like Malakot and Ser, cross two suspension bridges over Tadi and Sindure Rivers. In Nuwakot, you can walk around the village, talk to the locals and visit the Durbar Area. You might be lucky and see a living goddess Kumari.

Hike to Suryagadi and Walk to Malika Hill

This morning you'll have an early breakfast before you begin your 2.5-hour hike to Suryagadi, the highest hill in the region with magnificent views of Ganeshi Himal, Langtang in the north and wide valleys full of paddy fields. After lunch, continue hiking Malika Hill for more great views.

Drive to Nagarkot and Sunset View

After breakfast, we have a 5-hour drive to Nagarkot, taking up most of our day today. Nagarkot village has another viewpoint where you can see amazing sunsets and sunrises. Check in to your hotel then drive to the view tower, where we will see the sunset with the mountain ranges in the background once more.

Sunrise View and Sightseeing in Bhaktapur

Start the day early with a special sunrise view and a coffee at the hotel, we then go for some sightseeing around Bhaktapur to see the former royal palace just half an hour from Nagarkot. Then, drive back in Kathmandu late afternoon. You'll have one last chance to explore Thamel before going for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
